You can get a variety of wood plugs; the ones we got were pine, but you can also get walnut or cherry; just look for the type you want.

There isn't much more to say on the subject. They're wood plugs that fit into 3/8" holes. br>br>I had a walnut project that I worked on. I used a forstner bit to drill some shallow 3/8" holes so I could countersink some screws and fill them with real wood rather than filler. Because I didn't stain this project, the circles would have stood out. I pushed these plugs in after applying a small amount of glue to the hole and spreading it around the sides with my finger. I didn't even need to clamp anything because I tapped gently with a wooden mallet. Because they were wedged in so tightly, they were able to keep themselves in place. br>br>However, you should be cautious about the amount of glue you use. I used too much glue in some of the holes, which resulted in glue oozing out of the endgrain of these plugs; it wasn't a big deal because I could wipe it down and sand it, but it did add some extra work.
My project was a success because of it.
For my woodworking needs, this product is ideal.
These hole plugs have nothing to dislike about them, and because there are so many in the bag, you can use them to plug a lot of holes.
My most recent plugs, which I purchased from a different Amazon seller, were a fraction too small and did not work at all. These perfectly fit the holes in my 1/2" forstner bit.
I needed one, it fit fine, and I now have a large number of them. However, for the price, it's hard to beat.
These are a quick and easy way to conceal the screw holes. The hole is smoothed out with a forstner bit, allowing the plugs to fit easily.
