These fit perfectly and popped right in the 5/8-inch wide holes. I didn't use silicone to secure them, but if rain gets in, it's simple to remove them. They should be siliconed. They were about 90 cents each at the local hardware store, so 8 would have cost about $8 with tax. So, for $7, I was able to get 50.
These aren't even close to being white; they're more of a cream color. So, if you're looking for something to put on truly white shelves, these aren't going to work. Not by a long shot.
The retaining clips are a little small, so it was a little difficult to tell if they were properly seated, but otherwise everything was fine. Oh, and the color isn't exactly white; it's more of a cream color, which was fine for my needs.
These were perfect for covering the holes in my adjustable/unused 1/4" shelf pins! I would recommend ordering all/more than you require at the same time; I spaced my orders by a month and the color variation between batches was noticeable. It wasn't a big deal; it was only a blip on the radar. However, it is noteworthy.
Our state does not require a license plate on the front, but who knows what the next state will require? I just plugged them in after shooting them in body color.
These were purchased to cover holes left by the removal of a front license plate bracket. I trued up the hole with a 1/4 inch bit, and these fit perfectly. I'm sure I'll be able to use them in other ways.
I used these plugs to cover my vehicle's front license plate holes, and they worked perfectly! If you didn't know there was a license plate on the front of the vehicle, you wouldn't even notice these if they were color-matched to the paint! So much better than spending a few hundred dollars on body work for just two holes in your bumper.
Not 1/4 inch, but more like 3/16, and I lost one, so I can't return it, which means I've lost money.
