This is not stainless steel, nor is it Using this wire for a long period of time would be a mistake - The use of an outdoor space on a regular basis.
About 10 to 12 inches is the diameter I'd estimate. There is a 1/16th inch difference. 6. I have no idea what that means. On the package, there is an indication of 2mm. This product has a weight rating of 30 pounds.
Approximately 30 pounds of tension can be applied to this braided wire. It would still be a good choice for This is a 25 ft roll, so you should keep the extra for your next job, which might include a heavier load. Furthermore, you will probably have to pay more somewhere else for a lighter wire. There is no better deal than this.

A braid is not present on this wire. In the listing for this wire, it says it has a braided surface and there is a photo of a braided wire. What I received was a product number but not a braided wire. As for braids, I ordered them because I wanted them that way. You should not order this product if you wish to have braided wire.
Despite what the shipping label says, the wire is not braided in the least. As a matter of fact, it is barely twisted and flays But the wire isn't flimsy in any way. I've been trying to create more of a twist to keep it tight, but even with pliers it's hard. While I would like to use it on some frames, I will only use it on lighter frames, and I hope to find braided wire on Amazon in the future. However, I think the price is great (it was about $3 when I bought it) and again - it's a good deal. There is no sign of any damage to the item. It was so sturdy that it was hard to wrap and bent around the picture hangers I wished to use with them. In order to demonstrate how lax the wire is, I included some photos. Here is an example of a photo that hasn't been altered at all. The second picture shows it after pliers are used to twist it into a funny shape The wire was first twisted around itself before I wrapped it around itself to tie a For both, I had to use pliers. The wire in its original state is shown in the last photo (sorry for the tendon scar on my thumb).
There is a picture of this wire, and it is also stated in its description that the wire is braided. A twist has been woven into this wore and no braiding has been used. In the end, I returned it because I was trying to find.
Three pictures have been hung using this in the past few weeks. We are dealing with a heavy wire, twisted together into several strands. If you want the pieces to be cut to length, you will need cutting pliers For security, I threaded it through the picture hanging eye and twisted it back for about a 2" distance along its length. I could twist it easily, and it kept its shape well. Using this wire, I hung two 11x14 pictures and a mirror about 24"x36" and it handled that weight without a problem. Due to its limited length, this roll of wire only contains 25 feet, so if you need to hang multiple pictures, you will need to figure out how many feet you will need to avoid falling.
Our 16X20 frames with prints in the photo club gallery are perfect for hanging with this picture hanging wire. These wires were used when I hung pictures on small picture hangers. We can use these screws on our wood frames because they are the perfect size. My pictures are framed in landscape (horizontal) orientation, so this picture hanging wire is the right length for hanging them. The same wire, wrapped over the small picture hangers, can be used for either a horizontal or vertical orientation, which is why I drilled two sets of holes in the back of the frames.
There's no problem with this cable, it's rated for up to 30 pounds. I've used it successfully. 9 pounds of oil painting and frame are contained in this 4ft x 5ft painting. Does seem to hold the cable, but I would prefer a little bit heavier cable with more support like maybe some neoprene or polyamide I don't know how to tie the knot at the ends without the cable fraying too much but it did prove a bit difficult for me. The knot was straightened out with needle nose pliers before it was snuggled up tightly. An original painting of this size costs more than $2000. The cable I'm using is not very long-lasting, so I'm crossing my fingers.
You can purchase ANY OTHER type! Thanks to the pictures falling from the wall above my bed, it didn't break the wire! I've been framing pictures for years and this is my first experience with frayed wire! Thank goodness nothing got damaged! Oh well, at least I wasn't tucked up in bed!.
I would double the wire or just use something more substantial for anything larger than a cup with glass in it.
