Questions & Answers

If I cannot get the hangers to line up with studs when hanging a very heavy object using two hooks, is it a good idea not to hang the item into ?

Using two bolts and two screws, I hung 10 lbs of mirror The hooks go right through the sheetrock! This has been hanging for more than a month now, and there's no issue with it

Is it strong enough to hold 100 lbs simply by tapping into drywall or do the hooks need to be nailed into a wood stud?

Even though I nailed it into drywall, my painting did not weight nearly 100 pounds. Worked great for me.

It's a 70 pound mirror, and I want to know if it would be safe to hang it on dry wall, I feel as if it might get damaged by the dry wall?

I am pleasantly surprised by the strength of these Two of these hangers hold up a mirror six feet long and four feet wide.

Hang a mirror on the wall for me. However, the hooks are on either side of the mirror, so it is within the total weight allowed (under 100 lbs). Does it seem ok to you?

There will only be an issue with the width of the frame so that this hook does not show once hung. Otherwise, it is sufficient for hanging and weight support. There is a 1 3/8-inch opening at the top of the 100-lb wall hanger where the three nails will go through. In order to avoid showing the hook in the wall behind the frame, the hook on your frame needs to be at least 5/8 inch inside the frame edge. In your case, your frame is probably wide enough that this will be okay, but do realize that

With fingers crossed, we await the results of our three-month study You can hang a hook with three prongs! We lost our most valuable framed picture from the wall of our open stairway a few months ago (it weighed about 65 pounds)
5/5

In the early morning hours, 3 a. m. I will do so tomorrow In addition, the picture's glass had broken, and the frame of the picture wedged itself into the staircase at such a position as to completely block it. This picture had been hanging for almost one year when it was damaged. There were large gouges in the wood railings and newel post. It took us a while to clean up the mess (our second stairway was very helpful), we drank some vintage Scotch, and then One hundred seventy-five dollars of museum purchases Once we found the source of the fall, we were afraid to hang the picture again. Because the picture had fallen from a sturdy hook sunk into the wall stud, we were unable to determine why it had happened. We found out that heavy construction abutting the picture was the cause of the picture falling due to the debris on the ground for We could hear the rattling of glasses and dishes due to the vibrations from the heavy machinery. Having completed construction, we hope to be able to start the three-year operation in the next few weeks The prong hanger lives up to its promise. As of now, so good. Everything seems to be going smoothly. I will attribute the event to something paranormal if it happens again.

The hangers are excellent
5/5

They are very Where do we go from here? My goal is to have the interior of the house up to date by the end of Then there are minor tasks such as hanging this 35 lb mirror, which will be done after the popcorn is scraped and new plaster is installed. I chose the Heavy Duty Picture Hangers since I would only have three small holes to repair if it didn't work - If it didn't work, I'd have only one hole to fix. The spackle. There are two hangers I intend to use On the one hand, there's the basics - on the other, As a means of enhancing Having measured carefully, I hammered in the small nails and glued the whole thing together My immediate impression of their strength was awe-inspiring. As far as the mirror pulling away from the wall is concerned, this poses no threat to me. You can also add measurements if you are able to do so In case of incorrect placement or if you decide to place the mirror or photo somewhere else, Spackle is an easy fix for pinholes. Those picture hangers are outstanding. I highly recommend them.

Now that I have come to believe, I'm no longer a skeptic

To hang heavy antique regulator clocks on these hooks, I bought them. the beginning I was hesitant to buy these (they are rated for 100#), but after investigating the material and the design of the nails, I am confident that they meet their intended purpose and will securely hold a heavy object. I give them.

Your wall needs to stop having big holes made in it
5/5

In my search for an easy and sturdy nail, I kept finding those that were too small. The pictures in my home are large, and the house itself is old. As you might imagine, I tried several different nails, so I might have created bigger holes than I wanted in multiple spots if you are a perfectionist like me (which I hope you aren't). The measurements were taken (for those who thought I knew where to aim), but you know sometimes the results are just No matter how many times it is measured. As well, I have learned that some nails, even ones with extra reinforcement, aren't meant for certain types I have first home issues. That said, these nails are the best nails for heavy frames ever made. I would be willing to do anything for you. Their installation was very simple and they look great. In addition, they look cool with gold tips on the nails. As a girl, I just wanted to mention that. These nails are the only ones you will ever need!.

It is the right tool for the job
5/5

In the past, my only option was to hang pictures using a screw and wall anchor. worked however, if you needed to remove an anchor, there was a hole left behind that is difficult to fill with plaster and achieve the desired result.

This is done by leveraging small pins at an angle to hold the frame to You can easily remove it by pulling the pins, and even paint can be used to fill the pin holes if necessary.

I am glad to see something that works

When I found this product, I could hang a heavy mirror I had before, but the weight of the mirror is what prevented me from hanging it before.

A picture hanger that is best
5/5

Normally, I order picture hangers from another brand, but I decided to try these because I could not find the size I needed when It was pleasantly surprising to find that these were much more cost-effective and stronger than I expected. In contrast to my usual brand, these nails do not bend when they are installed on the hooks. I used them to hang artwork that didn't necessarily require 100 lb hangers, but I like that they anchor nicely into the dry wall and secure my large canvases.

Picture hangers that can hold a lot of weight
5/5

Using one of these hangers to hang a 20lb weight, I'm putting them to the test. My wall is equipped with a speaker. It proved daunting to find studs to hang my speakers on, so I had to use my "stud finder. " When I thought about that, I realized that my speakers didn't It may be possible to hang them with these hooks. It was a good call!" "I was right!" extremely easy to attach these hooks to the wall and to remove them To hang the speakers, use the keyhole on the back of the Polk speakers (the Polk speakers came with a piece that allowed Heavy is certainly the word that comes to mind. It's our job.
