I'd never hang anything heavy on "just drywall" in the first place. It's best to get a stud finder (available on Amazon) and nail into one.
The job should be done with a basic wire cutter.
Yes, these hangers are made of brass-plated stainless steel that can withstand moisture and humidity.

Although the steel wire wasn't as thick as I expected it to be, and I planned to use it to hang a nearly 40lb mirror, this is a good product if you plan on hanging a lot of things in the future. I still used it, but I wrapped two 22-foot wires together for added strength and support; I had previously hung a mirror with thicker, higher-quality wire, but this wire was much thinner. However, it continues to hold up and is still recommended.
Be cautious if you have an item weighing more than 40 pounds.
time use. I've been trying to make my living space more appealing since I've been stuck at home for who knows how long. I bought this kit to make my life easier because I had a couple of paintings to hang. I didn't expect it to be this difficult, though! I usually wax poetic, but I'll try to keep things brief here. br>br>While there are different sizes for different sized pictures, the nails are extremely fragile; I had two break just from the first hammer whacks, and nearly every single one bent immediately. These are without a doubt #1. I've spent a lot of time with my nails, and I'm not sure how I'll ever get them out: (Also, the weight they're "suggested" for appears to be exaggerated; I had to use the larger sizes even for smaller paintings, so keep that in mind. ) br>br>In any case, I don't think these are bad, but only time will tell. However, I'd look for a different kit that included thicker/stronger nails. In the future, I'll purchase a new set.
I can't emphasize enough how important this is in your home. It simplifies and streamlines the entire photo mounting process. We mounted our canvas art pieces with the tools in this box, and it was a breeze. It comes highly recommended.
A well-stocked assortment kit that can be used for a variety of hanging projects. Screw eyes, metal strand wire, and brass plated hooks in a variety of sizes are included. Also included are a variety of pins that can be used alone or in conjunction with the hooks. It comes in a handy plastic storage organizer with a snap-lock lid. Screw eyes, sawtooth hangers, and metal stranded wire are included for hanging the picture or mirror on the back.
I've bought a lot of wall hangings that didn't come with any kind of hardware, so this is a great thing to have on hand. This has seen a lot of use over the last few months, and I'm very pleased with all of the pieces that come with it.
If you're just getting started with decorating, this is a great place to start. After that, you can purchase additional sizes in the sizes you require. They're sturdy and functional, and after a month, none of my frames have fallen off the wall, which is impressive. The container is also sturdy and doesn't appear to be about to break.
This is a fantastic deal that is also extremely simple to use. The plastic box, on the other hand, was shattered. It isn't a significant issue. Then there's the fact that I usually hang pictures with small hooks, but they didn't come with enough small nails. The remaining nails are for a larger size and will not fit in the smaller one.
