The d- China produces both the ring hangers and the screws.
Yes, they are capable of supporting that amount of weight. If you have the space, you could use a longer screw. I use a longer screw when stringing my 40x30" paintings. Otherwise, I just use what's included in the box. They'll perform just as well as the big-box D rings.
Yes, this is possible. However, because MDF is a heavier material, the screws that come with the hangers might not be enough to keep the frame in place. I would suggest using a screw that is the correct size for the MDF thickness. br>Use a much smaller drill bit and tighten the screw to enlarge the hole. Don't overdo it. Tighten the screw as the MDF hole will be stripped if it isn't. br>Wishing you the best of luck!
Of course, you're aware that your 15 mm is roughly 15/32" (roughly 1/2 inch). I'm not sure what screw you'll use, but unless it's a very small frame, I wouldn't recommend attaching picture hangers to a picture with any small screw under 1/2 '" (which is what those screws measure, if not a little smaller). Most of the time, I use larger screws with those hangers because I use them for larger or medium-sized frames. For tiny frames, I use small screw eyes. For large frames with a minimal frame profile, I glue another piece of substructure (lattice) to the wood where I want to attach the hanger, making it at least 3/4" to 1" thick, and then use a larger screw. I hope this has been of assistance:

Use D-rings if you want your artwork to stay on the wall. (Sawtooth hangers should be avoided). I make frames and then re-frame them. I use and see a lot of hangers because I frame art. (Last month, I also witnessed what remained on the wall and what did not during a powerful earthquake. ) ) These are well-made and comparable to what you'll find in national art supply and hardware stores, but at a fraction of the cost; if you only have a single frame to hang, you won't need a pack of 100, but if you're hanging a few frames, this will save you money. This size is suitable for thin frames up to 16x20 inches, as well as thicker wood frames up to 11x14 inches with a 30-degree angle. Use the larger size D-wire if you have a large, thick, or heavy frame or mirror. Longer screws and heavier wire are used in rings with two screw holes.
These are the only things I use now to hang pictures. The use of these hangers is required by the majority of galleries. They're ideal because I store my artwork in boxes when I go to shows. D- is the reason Because rings lay flat rather than protruding like eye screws, there is less risk of damage to other frames, and you can fit more in a box because the old eye screws protrude so far, you don't need as much padding between artworks.
You shouldn't expect to get 100 responses. what was advertised on the internet: "A hundred picture hangers" screws. "I got the following: There are 99 picture hangers and 98 screws. Yes, I didn't lose a lot of money on this transaction. However, do not advertise services that you do not provide. These hangers are unremarkable in every way. I'll buy from someone who spends more time counting the next time. EDITED: br>br> 7/4br>Changed review to 4 stars because the hangers are in good condition and the seller sent me the missing parts. If you buy them, make certain to count them.
After I finished making the frames, I purchased these to hang some of my wife's photos. These are far superior to those found in big-box hardware stores in terms of quality. The finish is bright (as opposed to the standard zinc finish), and the "D" rings' legs are longer than those found in blister packs. They have a distinct advantage over standard screw eyes in that they will lay flat. There appear to be enough screws to mount all 100 D rings in the package, though I did not count them.
I purchased four packs of these and plan to purchase more. I stretch my wife's canvases and frame her paintings because she is an artist. br>Included is a sufficient supply of screws. If you're going to use a screwdriver, make sure you're using the right small Phillips head bit.
These D rings are ideal for securing my 30 pound Hollywood style Lighted Vanity Mirrors. I put one on each side and tie them together with No. Thank you, YippidysMirrors, for providing five vinyl coated stranded stainless steel picture wires.
I'm sure they'll hold up to small art pieces, but I wouldn't trust them with anything heavier than ten pounds. That may be a stretch.
Each of these picture wire rings is attached to the stretcher bar on each side of the back of a canvas with a single screw. They are capable and well-mannered. This kit comes with enough rings and screws to make 50 medium-sized rings. paintings of various sizes They're exactly what I need to get ready for my upcoming exhibition. Wrap paintings before sending them to buyers, galleries, or shows.
