Customer who is happy with the service
5/5

These hooks were used to hang drapes in my apartment. I'm astounded by their power. I'll be purchasing more of these in the near future.

I purchased 60 of these to see if I could hang a Goalrilla basketball hoop above my garage
5/5

So far, everything has gone well! I'm working with Air Alert to improve my HOPS game so that I can start dunking on fools and really put these things to the test; honestly, I won't be mad if I break my hoop because I'm dunking on fools.

When used correctly, it has a lot of power
5/5

We are big fans of these and have them all over the place. They're tough, simple to put together, and can support a lot of weight. Try this method if you're working with regular interior latex painted drywall: br>br>1) Use soap and water to wash your hands.
2) Clean the wall area of any debris and wipe with 91% rubbing alcohol.
2) Clean the wall area of any debris and wipe with 91% rubbing Clean the plastic wall clip part of the hook where the adhesion pad goes if you have heavy texturing. br>3) If you have heavy texturing, try to make it flat first. Maintain the hook's two halves' connection. Fingerprints that are oily should not be left on the back of the card. br>4) Use the hook-and-loop technique. align the tab to point down toward the floor and adhere the side adhesion layer to the hook. Make sure the adhesive strip is aligned to cover the entire pad area. br>5) Carefully align the hooks on the wall. br>6) Carefully remove the hook from the wall clip (pull gently up from the hook side). The plastic wall clip that is stuck to the wall will be exposed as a result of this. br>7) Firmly press the clip against the wall for 20 seconds. Timer: 30 seconds Any air bubbles should be removed. This will result in a very strong bond between you and the wall. br>br> To take it off, first pull up on the hook, then slowly pull down on the tab. The pad will detach itself from the wall in no time. br>br>One caution: when removing the hook from the wall clip, use extreme caution. My finger was cut by the sharp plastic on the wall clip after I pushed a little too hard. That is not, in my opinion, a flaw in the product. It was all due to my clumsiness. Just keep an eye out.

BEWARE! I couldn't wait to put them up on my freshly painted walls
3/5

They were incredibly simple to erect and provided a strong sense of security. At the very least, for a month. Then, this week, two of them, along with my priceless paintings, came crashing down from the wall! The first time it happened, I was sitting nearby, so I know it couldn't have been anything else but the adhesive failing. The second is number two. I returned home a few days later to find myself painting on the floor, face down. I'm not sure what went wrong for them. The only thing that comes to mind is the change in weather, but shouldn't they be safe in a house with air conditioning in May and June? Oh, and they also scratched the paint when they yanked it off. br>br>All I can say is WATCH OUT!.

My wall was ripped to shreds
3/5

I purchased one pack of these command hooks because I liked the idea of reusing hooks and cutting down on nail holes. I used them to hang shirts, towels, and other items, none of which weighed more than 5 pounds, but were within a 2-pound range. After 3 days of replacing them, I tried cleaning the surface to make them stick better and letting the glue set before placing anything on it, but they continued to fall. But there was one set that I had not changed since day one, until today, when it fell off and ripped a hole in my wall, as shown in the photo.

Be careful what you buy
3/5

These are, in my opinion, phony. These are, in my opinion, phony. The majority of 3M Command Strips are Velcro-attached. This is not the case. Both sides of these are sticky. The real Command Strips have sticky sides for attaching to the wall and whatever you're trying to hang, but Velcro sides for attaching to each other. I attempted to hang a picture on the wall that was very light. The strips were completely useless - despite the fact that I followed all of the normal procedures - Before you use it, clean the surface and dry it. The strips were not adhered to the wall in any way. The majority of 3M products are excellent. These aren't real, in my opinion.

I worked on clothing organizers that were hung on the wall
5/5

A wall organizer that was supposed to go over the door was hung here. Everything went smoothly. I messed up and hung one of the things upside down in the middle of a mombrain episode. Make sure the backs are properly attached. I'm hoping they don't fall any time soon, but I'll keep you updated if they do. The organizers are as follows: br>br> If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. EDITED FEBRUARY 2019 - These are still working for us and are still hanging on the wall. The hooks fit through the holes in my photos, which are about 1/2" in diameter. The hooks do not fit smaller 3/8" grommets, as one commenter pointed out.

Hanging curtains in a dorm window can be done in a variety of ways
5/5

The hooks are extremely effective. In my son's college dorm, we used them to hang room darkening grommet curtains. Measure your window, choose grommet curtains that fit your window dimensions, position the curtains above the window, place hooks to line up with grommets, and hang the curtains by the grommets if you want to do the same thing. This was the simplest and most cost-effective way to hang curtains in the dorm.
