An assortment of 6 locks is provided with 12 keys
At the time I got mine, you could get them in two, four, six and eight packs. I'm not sure if they still do. I think it's a good idea to have more than you need in case anything goes wrong you'll have a backup that's identical to the original.
Locks like these work well for securing gates, doors, and other parts of the home or office where you need a high-security lock. As well as handling the elements well, they have the ability to handle the heat. One problem with this system is that you only get a limited number of keys, and if you need another key you can only get it from a master lock dealer authorized to provide high-security locks by Master Lock. A lot of hoops needed to be jumped through to get extra keys. I like this lock a lot.

Despite living in New England where it is cold, snowy and freezing rain often, these locks have yet to fail me. In terms of weather resistance, these locks are directly exposed to the elements and they lock without any fuss every time. However, I think the two features that make this truly weatherproof are the swinging door that covers the key hole and the raised surface that surrounds the shackle opening. Inside the lock, water doesn't have a chance to get down. Become familiar with these locks if you need a lock you can rely on in snow and rain. everything you need to get you started. Besides this one, I won't buy another so-called weatherproof lock as long as it lasts. Although it may seem difficult to deal with the price tag at first, it truly is worth the investment. You will no longer need a heat gun to thaw the lock out or heat the key to thaw it. My recommendation for these padlocks is a strong one.
There is only one other thing I want to point out when I ordered four together, one key opened each lock. I assumed each lock would have its own key code because they were in separate boxes. You may want to take that into consideration if it is important to you. This makes me wonder how many people in the world have the same key that makes their locks open easily!.
The Wisconsin winter climate is proving surprisingly beneficial to these, as I purchased them to be used outside. In the last few months, we've experienced a stretch with temperatures ranging from 9 to 30°F and even snow. I was still able to open the locks without any problems. a couple of them on some electrical equipment I have, so they receive a little protection, but not very.
There's nothing to worry about with this lock since it's very strong and sturdy. The effects of this will be felt for years to come. Within a year or year and a half, any lock I have bought would break down, rust or become extremely difficult to open and close.
The lock is heavy duty and well made, though a little more expensive than most. Packaged nicely and was ready for use when it arrived. It would be recommended.
There are two of the three that work perfectly. The third is difficult to use. In other words, the key needs to be inserted to just the right depth, i. e. You won't be able to open the lock unless you open it all the way.
There is an old set in my home that is already 25 years old. I will be able to enjoy these for a very long time to come! The lock is perfect and the quality is excellent!.
The product came fast. The previous owner of a cargo trailer offered me these locks. I bought them for my cargo trailer. Although the locks were old, I was really impressed by how solid they were. My fences need four more of these items, so I ordered four more. It is well worth the extra cost to get a lock like this with solid construction.
