This information was found on the TSA inspection card. I would recommend this purchase to others. It is only a problem that I cannot see where the TSA lock indicator is located. There is a description that makes it sound like the red indicator will be blatantly obvious that your lock has been unlocked by the TSA, giving you the chance to open your luggage at the airport to make sure all your contents are there.

In my experience, the locks appeared to be fine when I looked at them. A TSA business card informing me that my bag had been inspected was waiting for me when I got home. The following is a revised version of I checked the indicator and it looked EXACTLY the same as I don't know how you are supposed to test this if you don't have a TSA key. I think my lock may not have worked properly, but if you don't have one, I don't know what to do. Thanks to the TSA, my luggage was found to be fine and no items of interest were found.

It's a very nice set of locks. . . unless one thing bothers you. It can be quite challenging to close them. It is necessary to push the cable end down into the opening far enough to make it "click" into place (all four). You need to apply a strong pinch of the cable to be able to apply the pressure required. The moment your fingers get wet or slippery, you can't keep your hands in the cup. It's a comfort to use my dominant hand to lock these locks, even though I'm a grown man with strong hands. As it is, it's almost impossible to do with my weaker hand. I expect my wife is equally unable to do it.

She could not open two of the locks when she reached her destination. In order to get the locks off her luggage, she had to find an English-speaking person to cut them off. Once the locks were removed, she had to buy new replacement locks. The bad locks were given to me by her when she returned home. The brand of locks you are considering is a bad choice!.

As part of my road show schedule I travel with a pelican case. I want a TSA lock for it. In the past month, 20 of them have been shipped, and they have worked On one of my trips, TSA jumped on the box and landed on the lock, causing the printed numbers on one of the cylinders to be smashed. How long has it been since this lock stopped I did not abuse it, but it kept on keeping on like an Because of this, I would purchase them again knowing that they are durable.

This lock appears to be excellent because it possesses the following characteristics (2) seem fairly indestructible in metal so unlikely not to be torn off the luggage during travel (3) very heavy but are certainly strong (4) have TSA system and (5) have the tiny red clear indicator when they've been opened for inspection by TSA (or for any other purpose! For my trip to Europe, I bought a lock and was happy that I had it with me. Having one as a deterrent made things easier. I will probably buy more now that I have one. Although I know it isn't going to be exactly what I want, it is still important to me. However, I rarely check a suitcase in this case it is great to have an obstacle in case an unscrupulous individual happens to see it. If someone reaches out for my zipper, it is a little difficult to reach if it is near the bottom. I personally loop the zipper through the bottom of my zipper. Additionally, I loved the ease of reprogramming it and the peace of mind it afforded me when my bag was at the hotel.

In the past, I ordered locks from Amazon that I loved. However, these locks required People who lose everything are the type of people I am. It has even happened to me that I lost things while reclining and never went out of my I naturally lost one key of the two that I received. Now was the time to get combinations for the locks. This is a great idea. The combination is very easy to set. I took them on a trip and they were perfect for my trip. They open and close easily. Since I got these locks, only one trip I have taken was TSA approved, which was great. TSA opened my luggage when I was there, so they are TSA approved. The lock was easily opened, as they did not encounter any difficulty.
