I have mine on a battery bay outdoors for about a year and it functions and looks just as good as This was the stainless steel

I found them to be easy to install The only instructions are how to reset the combination. I had to study the app for a bit before I knew what to do. You must align the reset hole in the insert with the reset hole in the housing before you put the two parts together. It is not possible to set a combination if it is not allowed. To dial your own code, you need to use a paperclip or other object to push in. We are unfortunate for that reason. No matter how much finagling we did, the trim on the storage doors was too close to the holes where the locks are installed, and no solution could be reached. The quality of these seemed to be mediocre compared to what we expected. They were keyless, and there was a secure storage area.
The cam locks on the belly storage of our travel trailer were wearing out so I bought these to replace them. Although I initially messed up when resetting the code, it was easy to take apart and resetting it without too much difficulty. I feel safer using it than using the common keyed locks that came installed when my husband and I bought the house.
My camper is now fitted with these camlocks in place of all the old ones. I am talking about the key for your camper's cargo hold that has the markings CH751. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, check your key. So your locks just function as a way to keep the doors locked as you travel down the highway, and not so effectively as a way to keep people in. It may be difficult to see the numbers on the locks if it is too dark, but there is no need to worry. It seems likely that the only way to change that is to make the numbers (and the lock) too My original locks appear to be of a much higher quality than the new.
The product is excellent. I wanted to replace the locks on my outdoor storage bins and these were ideal. The fit is perfect, and they are very effective. The code can be changed easily, and you can set it the same way for all of your purchases. For the rest of my storage doors, I will be purchasing more.
To replace some vintage cargo door locks on my RV, I needed these. What about the ones where you press the round key and they just turn on? It might be a good idea to add some security to those two The problem seems to be that they are not very weather-resistant. I strongly suggest you replace these rubber covers with ones that are waterproof. Keeping the elements out will be easier. It's quite likely that you'd want to have the ability to unlock the cargo bay if you did lock it. In any case, these are the best I could find without spending a lot of money, but the numbers and tumblers It's a good idea to keep a longer thumb nail.
Locks like these work well and are solid. It was necessary to exchange the blade for my original in order for my camper's storage door to operate properly. As the base of the lock was a bit larger than the original lock, I also had to trim a bit of the edge trim of the door. With my Dremel tool and a small cutting bit, I A black finish was easier to see than all chrome and worked well off-wheel. You can see no difference between the finish on and off wheel. This method may seem a little more cumbersome than using a key, but it all boils down to not having to carry around a key around.
The shipment I received looked like it was One of the four plastic bags had a lock, and the other three did not. Not one bag was even present in the shipping bag with the rest of the pieces. The door was missing one latch arm, as you can see in the picture, and no washers were included on either Without the washer, the lock would not turn because the molding on the door was rubbing on it. I had some rubber washers on hand that were just long enough to space it out just enough. However, the Combi-lock does not meet their needs, though I've never had a problem with it.
You need not look any further if you own an RV with the stupid CH741 keys that fit the half of the RVs in the world. It has been a lifesaver for me using these. Build quality is excellent, plus the mechanism has excellent detents and the rubber grip is nice. Do not let your kids mess with them or they will take off the rubber grip (still works fine without it) and end up losing the rings. It took me a while to realize this, so I glued them on instead.
