The lock on the pack) no longer requires a In 20 degrees, the other froze The handbags are not weatherproof, even though they advertise that they are outdoor. The quality of the service was poor Buying this product is not recommended.
The shed had one of these. I also bought three of these for our pasture gates. It has taken two months for them all to malfunction. There is a problem with two of them when combined In other words, I know what is on the front side from what is on the back side. I can't get the combination to work! Others have become impossible to use, as they have become such a challenge to operate. Unfortunately it is too late for me to return these locks so the purchase was.
Is beefy and allows you to put in your number and read it. In order to use it in the gym, I bought it. As I lock my glasses in a locker, I like the tactile feel as the numbers drop into place. It is sturdy, so a bolt cutter may be needed if you forget your 4 digits, of which you had the option to select, so make sure you remember them. Another gym locker lock that is as big as your are going to find. It works for me since I like 4 digits codes and do not like the traditional spin dial combination locks. As far as weather rating is concerned, it's not weather-rated and I wouldn't suggest it for outdoor use. I have outdoor locks that I use in Michigan during the winters they cost me a lot and this wouldn't be a bad purchase either.
As for weather resistance, I consider direct sunlight to be weather, and I'm not sure how weather resistant this lock is. Once it has been used to latch a plastic baby for a week, it can be considered broken In order to prevent this, the tumbler would have had to change to the correct code before opening. The tumbler would spin but one of the combinations wouldn't register as the right digit, so I broke off the child device, which thankfully is My thought was to trash the lock, so I took it inside the house. It took me a few more attempts to get the combo to work. The consistency of the results is unreliable.
Even if a mildly determined thief took my stuff, I do not think most of these "gym lock" types of combination locks would prevent it. As far as convenience is concerned, a combination lock like this is an assault on The stuff I kept in my gym bag back then was probably much better secured when I used a Master padlock and kept the key with me during my work outs. So, if you look at it that way, I suppose it isn't any better or worse than thousands of other locks. The orange color stands out from all of those other locks and it's easy to set up and use. In that respect, I would say that it is OK.
In December, it was purchased and by September, it could no longer be opened with a combination. I was lucky that the hasp on the door to the shared laundry room was not sturdy-I had to remove it with my claw hammer. I got a new hasp and I will not be purchasing these locks in the future. No longer did the combination work. I am sorry, but we liked the locks and they were easy to install. Although they appeared well made, their appearance is not as deceiving as it first appears.
The four locks I purchased have been very pleasant to work with. I purchased them twice and have been very pleased with them both times. Following the directions is all you need to do to change the combinations. Since I purchased the first pair, they have been outside on my gate for about three years, and they still look brand There are good markings on the numbers of the rotary combination locks, which spin easily.
It seems like these are heavy duty, but the locking mechanism is not so smooth. This is a lock that was clearly made without a tight tolerance as one would find in a better lock. I use mine for an outdoor storage locker that is rarely opened, so I'm not sure how they will hold up under a lot of use, as well as a gym locker (that might require more strength). I'm curious to see how the people of Alaska fare during the harsh.
