The size of the envelope needs to fit a 12 inch flat envelope. This size is 5 x Five and a half inches at most. Would 75 inches thick be a problem?

There is a maximum size of 7 inches for each parcel. The border measures 9" by 9". The size is 8.5 x 5" The rigid envelopes won't fit inside the envelope except for those 9", so it's not the right size.

The top input opening allows someone to reach inside and remove contents. What prevents this from happening?

The top of the box contains a plate which falls away when weight is applied to it (such as a package). The package falls to the floor and then the plate is raised. In other words, just like a post office
