The tamper proof plate has come loose from the pull down flap. Customer service has not responded. There was a failure of the spot weld on the left side. In this case, quality control should have caught it. It is easy for someone to get at the packages by tearing apart these. A couple of weeks ago, I emailed Barska's customer support, but the company did not The same problem has been reported elsewhere, so you might want to consider switching to another secure mailbox provider.
This product arrived defective. Within weeks of receiving it, Barska confirmed that it was defective and offered a workaround to fix it using steel pieces. From the manufacturer, it will take two months to receive the pieces.
