What will happen if the adhesive is exposed to the direct sunlight in Arizona?

The ones on my pedestal mailbox in Long Island, NY have never fallen off in all seasons since I got them over 5 years ago. The majority of the day in the hot summer months is spent under direct sunlight.

After I noticed that it is not solid brass, but copper plated with brass color. This is the new number (exactly opposite the old number)

Pros *I did not attempt to use the adhesive because it was nice and heavy.

I like how heavy they are. It's not uncommon for me to have to replace them, but only because the mailbox itself needs to be replaced. This product is of higher quality and very nice.

It is too early to know how long or well the glue will hold up, but they have a nice look. They haven't been on the mailbox for long enough to know how durable they are.

In my opinion, sticky tape is a great tool, fills the postmaster's requirements for affixing your box number, looks classy, and is very affordable.
