When I noticed that a majority of negative reviews came from users living in parts of the country that suffer in the heat of the sun, it caught my eye. *br> Apparently after being exposed to the elements, number would curl up and peel from the lens in a few hours. Although we get a lot of rain in South Florida, I don't know if that plays into the problem. I am surrounded by sweltering heat and blistering sun all year round. My address sign faces south and is completely exposed to the sun. I haven't run into any similar issues so far. There were two extra steps that I took before setting the numbers on the lens that weren't mentioned in the instructions, but may have contributed to keeping the numbers adhered. *br>Before applying the numbers, make sure that any residue on the lens has been removed. is dirty or has any type of residue on it, the numbers won't attach to the surface and will come off. The numbers on the sign were easy to place and easy to set up. On the photo, you can clearly see how strong the light is coming from the sign. Our approach to the driveway allows us to see the sign easily from over a hundred yards away. The first number on the sign is not lit up from both sides therefore, we needed a second sign to show our house number from both directions.
