Simple to work with. This is a fantastic solar-powered light-up address sign. There are three sets of numbers included, as well as a template for a three or four-number address. I suppose you're out of luck if your address is 4444 any street, but if you only have three of the same number in your address, you'll love this thing. br>br>If your house address has five digits, unless they are thin numbers like 1 that can be placed closer together, don't buy this. br>br>I installed our sign with the included stakes, but it also comes with toggles (that don't appear to be very sturdy) and screws if you want to mount it on the wall. I chose to install the sign in the ground so that it would receive full sun all day and have enough juice to be well lit at night.
We used this COVID to order food for delivery. We've had a delivery guy call us every time he can't find our house at the age of 19 and every time we've had a delivery guy call us and say he can't find us. The new numbers are up, but they are not visible at night. As a result, this was an excellent choice. It was well packaged when it arrived. It is solar, so it is lit at night (delivery was right the first time to the house now). It has a few mounting options, which was a bonus. It also included templates for mounting the numbers evenly in the illuminated window. The only thing to keep in mind is that it only comes with two templates for 3 and 4 digit house numbers; if you have more, you'll have to make your own template. I tried fitting five numbers just to see if they would fit, and they did, but it was a tight fit. Please keep this in mind.
The numbers are made of VERY heavy vinyl, which adds to the design and quality. In comparison to other solar signs, I believe they will last a long time. I'd like it to be a little brighter- The box, however, is a work of art-- It appeals to me. It includes a single AA battery. br> So all you have to do is stick on the 3 or 4 numbers, peel off the clear plastic that protects the vinyl numbers and the solar panels, and hang it up with two screws hidden behind the numbers. Two metal rods, each 8 inches long, could be pushed into the lawn and inserted into the plaque's bottom. It's likely that you'll want to elevate the plaque in some way. br>The casing appears to be thick, sturdy, and well-sealed. The vibrant color will not fade, in my opinion. The packaging was fantastic.
They also provide excellent visibility. Installing numbers and screwing in stakes were the only steps in the assembly process, which were both quick and simple. I only had it out for 3 hours before sunset, and it had been lit for at least 2 hours (possibly longer before I went to bed). My wife liked the design, but she didn't care for some of the other yard installation options. I am extremely happy.
Our old solar house number sign died, and it took a long time for me to find a suitable replacement. This house number sign has made me very happy. It has a high-end appearance and feel to it. Templates for quickly and easily placing house numbers are one of the setup's best features. For each of the three, there is a separate one. Placement of four numbers. There are also three sets of numbers that are substantial rather than thin or cheap-looking. This can be hung on the wall, but we used it as a border for a flower bed. The stakes are coated metal that are securely screwed into the body so they don't get lost or misplaced if the sign needs to be moved. The batteries were fully charged when it arrived and are in excellent condition. It is something I strongly suggest.
With the provided mounting screws, it was very simple to install on my stucco. For delivery trucks to see at night, it appears to be very bright! br>It's just the right size!.
Pros: br>Looks great and is of excellent qualitybr>Well madebr>4 sets of high-quality letters and numbers are includedbr>Cons: The LIGHT SENSOR PANEL is a device that detects the presence of light. It only lights up on the very top of the unit, so you won't be able to mount it underneath your house lights like I did. The sensor panel should be placed on the unit's sides. br>br>The gold color used for the trim is out of date. I redrew the picture and repainted it. br>br>Solution: br>br> br>In the end, I had to turn the unit around.
Although it appears to be attractive and simple to set up, the solar powering of this device is completely inadequate. After a bright and sunny California day, the light is bright for about two hours after sunset, then dims until about one hour after sunset. The lights go out at 2 a. m. I simply repackaged it and returned it.
