Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Important: For detailed instructions on sizing and installation, watch the product video. The chair foot caps have a 1.25-inch diameter. 36mm (42 inch) They're designed to accommodate one person. These are not a pressure fit force in type of glide, so there will be a little space around the edge when used on a 1-1/2 inch inside diameter cup. Knowing your furniture's foot cups inside diameter is important to getting the right size.
Outdoor chair leg caps that are the easiest to install and last the longest. There is no need for any additional equipment. Moving furniture is made much easier with extremely hard and slick plastic. Spend less time replacing the glides on your patio furniture and more time relaxing instead.
The ability to self-correct. A soft, flexible foam cushion conforms to uneven surfaces in these replacement chair leg inserts for metal legs. By ensuring even contact with the floor, this aids in the reduction of wobble. It can be used both outside and inside.
The furniture sliders are non-marking and will prevent scrapes, damage, and rust marks on your patio and/or deck surface. They'll also protect your unprotected steel patio furniture feet from gouging and dings, as well as eliminate that annoying screeching sound when you move your chairs.
Made in the United States of America. Delrin is a very durable and long-lasting material, and it's used to make these metal chair glides. These metal chair feet glides outlast the typical plastic pressure fit caps found on a lot of lawn furniture by a factor of ten. 24 plastic table/chair glide caps and 24 double-sided waterproof adhesive foam flex-cushions are included in the package.

Questions & Answers

Is it possible to glue them to flat wrought iron chair legs, and if so, what is the diameter?

1-inch in diameter 1/2" (1. 5) I would not recommend gluing them to a flat surface. Rubber Cane Tips are what I use for flat chair legs. They aren't as easy to slide, but they do protect the feet from being scratched.

Can these be used to prevent rust on a concrete patio, and do they slide well over a rougher concrete finish? Please accept my sincere gratitude. ?

Some types of outdoor furniture necessitate their use. On my concrete patio, I put them to good use. The surface of my patio has a smooth finish. They work well, but rougher surfaces may necessitate the use of wheels.

This would be too big for my 1" leg to fit inside, right?

These would be too large, I'm afraid. To see the style, look at a leg that still has a glide on it. This is the one that is held in place by a foam disc and fits inside the bottom. Snaps were required for the style I was wearing. Despite the fact that both sizes are 1 1/2", they don't fit equally well. I'm attempting to return these because I needed to order a new set. I hope you find this information useful. Best of luck to you.

Will these leave a scuff mark on concrete? The black plastic glide on our indoor bar stools leaves a black mark on the concrete floors. ?

They're for my textured patio, which I just finished. They've been on for just over a year and I haven't had any problems with them. No marks. The plastic isn't wearing out, and none of them have come loose from the bottoms of my rod iron chairs and table. I hope this has been of assistance.

Actually, this is an excellent product; however, I was disappointed when I first opened the box and examined it closely
5/5

The leg glides on my old wrought iron patio furniture had worn out. I recently replaced my deck with Trex, a high-end composite, and I didn't want my iron furniture to scratch it. The glides are thick and protrude far beyond the edge of the metal cup that fits on the ends of the legs, but they are held in place by an adhesive disk. I had a feeling they wouldn't hold, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. They were simple to put together, and the word "glide" sums them up nicely. The heavy iron pieces gliding across the deck boards are actually quite light. We've had a lot of rain, but none of them have blown away. Another advantage is that they self-level, ensuring that the chairs and tables do not wobble. The Forever Glides have won me over! They are ideal for my application, provide excellent protection for the Trex, and have proven to be completely safe. This is an excellent product.

This glider is a nice upgrade over the standard replacement glider
4/5

I am pleased with my purchase. Concrete pavers serve as the foundation for my patio furniture. A concrete front porch holds some additional furniture. The cheap white plastic friction fit gliders had all been worn out. The gliders appear to have a two-season lifespan. The paint on the metal cups had worn off, and they were starting to rust, and rust stains are difficult to remove from white concrete. This time, I decided to go for a more long-lasting option. Cleaning the rust off the metal cups, priming them, and repainting them took a lot longer than installing the new Forever Glides. It took me just over an hour to install the gliders on seven chairs and two tables (I skipped a step). (See below for more information). The end result was satisfactory. Furniture now glides over the pavers and/or concrete with ease. I'm keeping a star in reserve because it's too early to tell about longevity (it's still working well after about a month). br>br>However, I did include a step in the process. I used a small stiff brush to paint a layer of black RTV (silicone) to the outer edge of the double sided foam pad (after partially peeling off and folding over the second piece of paper) after sticking the foam pad to the glider after peeling off the first piece of paper and sticking the foam pad to the glider. If you decide to try it, make sure you have a roll of paper towels on hand because it'll be a mess even if you're careful. What was I thinking when I did this? Moisture would eventually "kill" the adhesive in exterior applications, according to previous experience with double-sided tape. Using RTV to keep moisture out and the adhesive working is a good idea. Example: At my old house, I used silicone caulk around a piece of double-faced foam tape to secure a thermometer to a powder-coated aluminum window frame. I moved out 17 years later, and the thermometer was still there.

This is a good substitute! These were purchased to go with some vintage tables and chairs that I had
5/5

I like how they use adhesive rather than a press fit to attach them. This way, they can all be used and none of them get cracked or smashed while being installed. The self- The leveling feature isn't as obvious as it could be in the description, but it's simply a foam pad that can compress more when used with a crooked foot pad. They've been in place for a few months, but I expect them to wear out eventually, particularly on any unlevel feet, because pressure isn't evenly distributed. Although the foot must not be filled with clumps of dirt, they do look better and install in seconds, and the plastic is a different type than in the press-on version. It appears to be made of nylon in the pads, which should make it last longer. They're a little thicker and less brittle than the previous ones. I would definitely purchase this brand again at this time.

This is a game changer
5/5

These furniture gliders (designed specifically for heavy-duty wrought iron furniture) are a game changer! This is 55-year-old Meadowcraft furniture that belonged to my parents. Yes, I need to find someone to restore/repaint it, but it looks great with the cushions in the meantime. There is one sofa, two chaise lounges, a dining table, eight chairs, a set of nesting end tables, and a large round coffee table in my living room. So, with four legs per glider, that's a lot of gliders, but it's also a lot of heavy furniture to move around, and you'll have to deadlift it to avoid scratching your deck or pulling your deck rugs. I'm not in the least bit handy or crafty. Actually, I'm a little bit of a handyman. I'm unable to assemble anything myself and must hire a handyman to assist me. These, on the other hand, were ridiculously simple to put together. I simply followed the instructions and diagram that came with them. br>br>I was skeptical when I came across these on Amazon (while looking for regular inside furniture gliders) because of the pictures and description. USE THE IMAGES AND DESCRIPTION FROM THIS DETAILED REVIEW AS YOUR IMAGES AND DESCRIPTION These gliders have a very strong adhesion. The newfound maneuverability of the furniture will save our wrists and eliminate multiple bumps and bruises on our shins that my entire family has had to endure my entire life! I suppose the furniture came with some type of glides when my parents bought it 55 years ago, but they are long gone, and this is the solution! I looked for a solution about ten years ago, but Meadowcraft didn't have anything, and I couldn't find anything at any other patio furniture store. I'd had it with trying. Regular gliders will not fit in the strange cups on the legs (as shown in the photos). Meadowcraft now sells a plastic leg tip, but it does not stay on and cracks easily. If I discover any quality issues with these Max Tech products, I will update this review. br>br>MANY THANKS TO MAX TECH FOR CREATING THESE! I hope you sell them for a million dollars! Meadowcraft and patio furniture stores are in desperate need of customers!.
