My name is Mary and I am working for the Washington Post. This might help a little, but I thought I would share how I used These pads I bought to replace worn out ones on an old metal stool I kept in my garage. Legs had an average diameter of The diameter of the circle is 5 inches. only had to use a very small amount of WD-40 It took 40 minutes to put them on since there was no room for error. In fact, I have tried putting them on without The 40th is ripped and I ripped it. In that case, I thought it was appropriate to mention it. Here's hoping it will help.

The purpose of this search is to prevent scratches on wood floors due to old feet on two different tray tables. I chose the 1/2" size and it wouldn't fit at first but after I figured out the old plastic feet were the problem, I removed them and replaced them. My floors will not be damaged for years to come with these rugs. They fit snugly and are soft enough. This is a style table I used on a recent style table (2017) and one that I can't even remember how old it is This piece of furniture is old, but still in good condition. It just lacks the Trying these new feet for a tray table might be the perfect solution if you're in need of new legs. Do not guess the length of your legs measure them.
Rather than pay more for the cheaper tips this time, I got exactly Because the rubber on the tips is thin, one of them split when I inserted it on my cane. It is definitely worth buying the more sturdy looking type at roughly $2 more, or simply take them to Home Depot or Lowe's for a fraction of the cost. I will be buying these again next time Essential Medical Supply T50012bl Quad Cane Tips, Black, 1/2 Inch.
The vinyl covers we bought for the bar stools prevented them from scratching the hardwood floor. The pedestals of the stool are cylindrical with tapering pegs With a hard plastic tip at the end and at 1/2", they are leaving marks on the floor. I found these tips to be perfect. They are substantial enough that my leg will not poke through over time, but also fit snugly and are soft enough to stretch around the slightly wider part of my.
This item seems like one that should be carried locally by BIG BOX stores, but they don't have them stocked, so I would have had to purchase them at my local store. Fortunately, they were available on Amazon. A golf course bag handler had removed a 1/2" leg cap from one of the legs of an old golf bag. I needed one to replace it. There are 4 of them for a reasonable price. Those fit snug on the legs of the golf bag. To ensure they don't come off in the future, keep them attached with some good glue.
This rubber chair tip was exactly what I needed for my chair. It fit well and was easy to install. This manufacturer appears to make quality products that fit true to size. In a big box store, I am sure that I would not have gotten such a high quality product and would have spent hours chasing things down. I would definitely order from this company again, but what the shipping fees are is something I should watch out for. I would investigate another company or alternative supplier if the shipping costs were excessive. Offhand, I believe the shipping costs were higher and about in line with the rubber tips' price. I think it would have been a lot more economical to ship these in an envelop or package for half the price. Amazon has often provided me with no problems when purchasing from them, but I generally like doing business with them. Mr. Bob Lakewood resides in New Jersey.
During a recent outing, the rubber feet on my telescope's cube mount tripod were lost. In this case, I filled the tips about half full of silicone sealer then pressed them onto the tripod feet. I removed the extra silicone sealer and smoothed it around the tripod feet with my fingers. I have had no issues with them.
As replacements for the worn out stool legs, they do a great job. The wooden floor started being scratched by some of the stool legs that were worn down completely. It adds a little cushion to the sitting experience by replacing the old rubber with these new rubber replacements. The tall frames were my biggest concern because I was worried that they might take away from the aesthetics. However, they aren't.
Since the legs are oblong, but not round, I ordered the size they suggested. I was surprised that they took so long to get on there, but now that they're there they're fantastic!.
