The casters can take quite a bit of weight, but it depends on what you're doing. They would not collapse, if I were them. In either case, you have two flat surfaces in front of you. You can also turn the first one upside down and then put the second one right side up. In order to gain four inches, I assume you would need to grow about 4 inches. You may need to reverse these if this is unsteady. They're made of rubber that is thick and heavy, but rubber can flex under stress. I wish you the best of luck.

Unlike the previous mattress, this one doesn't move like the previous one. Those casters helped out a lot, and I am glad they helped! Just enough height was raised for the vacuum to go under my table without taking it apart. Because of the price, I was afraid these casters may have been made of cheap plastic, but they seem to be made of solid rubber and I think they will last for a long time! I was glad I purchased these, and I would buy them again.
This is the best product for non-smokers The furniture is on wheels I could have ordered the wrong item, but I think a "castor cup" would be a perfect addition to a chair mounted on castor wheels to make it stationary or to keep the wheels from grabbing the Since I bought these units for this purpose, they are of limited use since they do not have enough lip to keep the wheel inside, and with the added height of almost half an inch, the chair easily slides out of the castor cup and onto the carpet when pushed. The hardwood floor protectors I have bought are perfect as furniture floor protectors under standard furniture and are fully a five star product. I have also tried them under my chairs and settee on the hardwood floor and they work just as well. A 3 out of 5 star rating is given for use as cups to hold wheels in, while a 5 out of 5 rating is given for use on hardwood.
