FIX BI-FOLDING DOORS - This all-inclusive DIY kit allows you to effectively fix one set of hinged bi-folding doors. In a bi-fold door track with 7/8" width, you use pivots and guides with a 3/8" outside diameter.

- Included in this bifold door repair kit is both the top and bottom pivots, a plastic guide wheel measuring 7/8" in diameter, a steel bottom pivot bracket, a wooden knob, and a white plastic snugger with a steel spring. You will not receive hinges with this item.

QUICK AND EASY – A 2-panel set of hinged bi-folding doors can be quickly and easily fixed rather than having to purchase a new one since you'll have everything you need.

In a typical bi-fold closet opening, a pair of bi-folding doors is mounted on the left side of the opening and another pair of bi-folding doors is mounted on the right side of the opening (a total of 4 narrow doors mounted each on the left and right). As a result of the contents of this kit, only one of the pairs can be repaired, or two of the four doors that are hung in one opening can be repaired. It is recommended that you purchase both kits (or both pairs) if you need to repair both doors.

Hey there, i have bifold doors from the 90's that have a Stanley mounting kit and hardware. Approximately 25mm wide is the outside of the track. How well would this kit fit your needs?

It claims to be suitable for the use of 7/8" wide top tracks, which is equivalent to about 22 mm. It would then be possible to fit the top wheel on that track without too much slop. are not affected by that measurement, so as long as they are the same as Stanley then everything is okay, except for the spring thing that has to do with the pressure on the doors while they are open. There is a possibility that the white plastic part may not tolerate a different track as well. In any case, I do not use that part of the process. What are the risers like on this model?

It's not clear to me what you mean by "risers," but the chain has a base pivot that is adjustable by half an inch or more, and the top pivot is spring-loaded so it can adjust by at least half an inch or more in height.

A bifold door is one of the only pieces of furniture I have from the 1960s. As the pivot pin is not spring-loaded, it is not spring-loaded. It would be helpful if you could tell me where to find these ?

The answer is not known to me. The company "Prime-Line" has an incredible variety of pins. Directly contact them for more information. They may have springs, but they are also held in place by a lock. Looks like they also have these for steel bifold doors, as well. It may be necessary to remove the spring and replace it with a spacer if new pins are to be made by cutting and fabricating new ones. is also dependent upon the track and pivot mounts, which can all be replaced to get a smoother pivot. There was one lady who had me take down her 1960's bifold doors since they were too heavy and she was afraid of her toddler getting hurt by the pivot points in the doors. This is an especially good value for the price if you need this size (which I have seen in all the doors I have seen). It even had a knob, which is something I must have. Installation took only an hour and brought the old broken door back into use within a few hours. There is only one downside to this I have to paint the doors now.

As I found it to be a good price, I purchased it. It came with more parts than I needed, but it was still a good kit. Our bifold door was back in working order immediately after installing the pin with the spring inside the plastic. Within a couple minutes, we were able to replace the old pin and have the door functioning again. Other than the batteries and chargers, I do not think I will ever need any of the other parts, but it is good to have them on hand.

In reality, it's for ONE BIFOLD DOOR when you say "2 door set

" There is nothing wrong with calling this a "2 door set" but it only has hardware for ONE BIFOLD DOOR which is a door with two panels connected by When you order two repair kits (as it is with most installations), order two bifold doors. This was obvious to me before the events occurred, but it has not been explained in a way that is clear to the "general public. " In terms of the product itself, I did not have any problems with it. I used a few pieces but they worked fine.

The door leading to our washer and dryer is a bifold door On one side, there was a break. There was nothing particularly easy about this kit. It wasn't clear what to do & Although I had measured, I was not able to get the pieces to fit. It didn't do everything I wanted, so I'm only giving it 4 stars, as some of the problems might have been more user-related than product-related.
