I was hoping for something a little thicker than the factory one, based on some of the reviews. That was not the case. It's the same thickness, and the first time I shut the door, it bent slightly. Our door is a little tighter than most, and closing it takes a lot of force. I've had the dealer make changes, but there hasn't been any improvement.
We're currently living in our fifth wheel, and the door gets a lot of use. I'm glad I came across this!.
On Lance 1685, for the RV door. I used to bend and beat the old one to make it work again. This is something I've never seen in an RV store. It's far too simple with Amazon. Now the door functions as it did when it was first installed.
A strike plate on the entry/exit door of a 1997 Lance camper was ordered to be replaced. This was the ideal pairing. It fits perfectly and is far superior to the aluminum one that came with the car.
Was exactly what I needed for my Lance camper from the year 2000. The door is now securely shut. The materials used in this product appear to be superior to those used in the original.
I wasn't sure if it would be the right fit for my Dad's Lance Travel Trailer 2285, but it turned out to be. Excellent value for money.
There aren't any screws with these. They came in repack baggies, so now I have to scrounge for screws that will work. I'm not thrilled.
The size of the opening had to be changed, but the integrity of the structure was not compromised.
