However, in actuality, the knocker has a chunkier feel and flattens out in the curved area. To hook a wreath onto the rounded portion of the hook, I had intended to use the rounded part. Although the circle will still work, it may not work as well as it would if it were as shown. Normally I would have returned them, but I could not return this item because they are not as pictured. Although it seems like a nice quality, sturdy knocker, it still feels good to use.
