There is a yellow gold hue to our Brass Fox Door Knocker.
There is probably a slight difference in size between 2 1/2" and 2.5"
One inch and one sixteenth is the distance between mounting screws.
It would be best if the larger, Premium size was used!

Yesterday, I received my "fox in a box" doorknocker, which I installed on the front door right away. I am very impressed with how well-made, unique, and beautiful this fox is. We love the dark polished bronze finish of this door knob. It adds a lovely sheen to the cherry stained wood. We decided to go with the premium size over the smaller version, which I am pleased with. It is easy to hear the knock throughout the house because it is loud and insistent. There will be a time when we will have to take him off, to sand and varnish the door panel (the old door knocker was vertical) but, right now, he's staying on, so I can admire that. Can you please provide me with a matching doorbell?.
I just didn't know what I wanted until seeing this door knocker. The packaging is superb, as if you had paid three times the price. I am a good weight too -- In order to fill a 6 panel door, the knocker needs to be neither too heavy nor too light. The space between the panels from tip of ears to base of tail needs to be completely contained by the knocker.
The design of this image inspired us to hang it above the door of our coffee shop. The products are not cheap, but they are also high The quality of the product is excellent, and it is not cheaply made. A smooth and polished finish is applied to the engraving lines. It's easy to install and pleasant to look at. Gift it to a new homeowner, to someone who has everything, or even to someone who is hard to buy for. It comes in a very nice box and velvet bag, so it would make a great gift.

The fox is absolutely adorable! The door knocker has a beautiful, heavy brass finish. I was amazed by how well the package was packaged and how quickly it was shipped.
What a great idea! There is more silver than brushed nickel to it, so it appears to be shinier than I anticipated. I am very pleased with the way this door hangs on my door. So now I want the doorbell ringer to go with it.
