If you're asking how it can be installed on either left or right opening doors, then it can be. The hardware needed for double doors that open both left and right would have to be added.

I was able to install it easily, and it looks terrific. The matching electronic deadbolt from Century Sense is a perfect match for it. I really like the way the upgrade worked out.
You may need to read this if the latch kept becoming disengaged repeatedly. This handle is pleasing to the eye. A lower rectangle can be slid up and down to coincide with the upper rectangle A drilled hole can be used if necessary. A line must be drawn straight up and down for the handle and the rectangle to fit, as the handles can be "twisted" a bit. Just make sure you tighten everything from the inside until you examine the handle from the outside.
One minor problem, this reviewer noted, is that the jamb latch disengages from the piece that extends from the outside thumb latch to the interior There is no way to open the doors when this happens! A lot of frustration. As soon as this happened a few times, I went back to the instructions and discovered that I had forgotten to attach a flexible black "cylinder" to the jamb latches. Despite the fact that I thought it was very overpriced, I really liked this door handle. You would be surprised at how hard it was to get a low door lever that didn't come with the upper deadbolt for the main entrance. Most lower door levers are for closets or bathrooms. I ended up tossing aside the instructions, and installed the damn thing after I simply ignored them. Installation was actually fairly simple, even though the instructions covered several models, none of which I owned. The lower part of the lever handle bolts to the door, which is a great feature. As a result of not having this option, my previous unit would come loose all the time. It's a fairly solid door handle on the whole.
The only one where I was concerned was this one, as we encountered an issue with a similar replacement a couple of years ago in another home. In the end, I didn't have to worry. There was just one hole to drill for the screw that goes into the bottom of the handle, as the handle slipped right into the holes left over from the previous door set. set, there was just a screw into the door, but on this set there is a bolt that can be inserted all the way through. A drilling template helped us decide exactly where to drill. Within less than fifteen minutes, everything was set up and working properly. As the new door set is shaped differently from the one it replaces, I had to get some touch-up paint in addition to the door set I replaced In this case, the only problem was matching the door, but it was not difficult, and the result looks just like a brand-new I love the way this lock works, and it matches exactly with our electronic door lock for that door, with a brushed nickel finish. Our Wink Hub has been using this lock since January 2016. It worked flawlessly from Jan 2016 until April 2018. It has since developed a bunch of issues. In the last three months, the batteries have died about every three months, whether or not they are frequently used. Sadly, the key pad has now gone dead, and we have exhausted all troubleshooting techniques. Schlage has no support or a factory reset available to us. It was impossible to reach someone at Schlage for help when I tried to call. My email to them has not been replied yet. I am waiting to see what they reply with. I am not completely sure if replacing it with a new, similar model would result in the same problems. These door locks are expensive. It's a shame that they have a lifespan of less than three years. The convenience of this item has decreased significantly in the last 9 months, which is why I am taking two stars off.
Looks clean and modern without being overly trendy The modern world. This handle set is the perfect match for the new smart lock I purchased when I upgraded to a smart deadbolt. The new smart lock had a sleek, clean design so the new handle set matched as well. I really like the finish, and it was very easy to install.
Our Schlage touchpad lock is now complete with this. I like how the design looks so modern and how it works so well. I was able to install it myself without any problems.
Is a perfect match for the Schlage Encode black. It has a nice look, and it is well made. Perfectly matches the Schlage Encode black deadbolt (Schlage Encode Smart WiFi Deadbolt with Century Trim in Matte Black (BE489WB CEN622). I highly recommend this book.
