In my application, the screws were about the right length but the heads of the screws stick out (not flush) because the hinges were solid. If the screws used in the hinges are too big, or there is another screw for the hinges with a slightly smaller circumference of the head, the screw holes should be enlarged. You can pick the hinge engineers you want.
The hinges were purchased to be used on an outdoor TV cabinet that I constructed. I ended up not using the screws that were provided as they kept stripping as I tightened them. As a substitute, I bought stainless steel screws that did the job just fine. In spite of that, the hinges look great and are very strong.
There's nothing to be proud of with these things. There is almost an aluminum-like feel to them. A terrible situation.
It is because of this that this hinge material is very thin that it was not used. Because I ordered them in advance, the return period was over, and after I tried to return them it was too late, so I had to let them go.
Since I was unsure of how long they would endure, I used four instead of two in my application. The setup of the lid will likely have to be changed. A cheap Chinese product like these is nothing new.
The heads on the screws snap off as soon as they are tightened, both in terms of appearance and quality. It's not something I would.
The most amazing cheesiness A blade with jagged edges is created by poor tooling, and the hinge pin is too small, which causes the leaf to loosen and wobble. These are the lowest quality parts I've ever seen, and I don't expect the highest from inexpensive parts. In any event, if it does not matter what happens to them, they might still be a good choice The article says light duty, but it's not entirely accurate. Despite their low cost, they are very effective.
