A hinge and a screw
If you install a door hinge correctly, you need to cut notches on the edge of the door and on the jamb, otherwise the door will not The notches on a hinge should be deep enough so that if the hinge was to sit flush with the wood, it would be flush with the surface.
There is no light weight hinge here. The hinges looked thick like a standard hinge.

The hinges are stunning in satin nickel. These doors fit perfectly in my old home with brass doors and I was able to replace them all with these doors It is a color-coated, painted A cover is applied to the There are Chrome/Nickel colored screws included, but they are not shown on the pictures. I like the fact that they are very durable, don't make any noise, and seem to already be assembled We lubricate. IMPORTANT NOTE The units are extremely easy to install, but if you're replacing older, painted units, you might want to cut the outline of the old ones with a sharp knife to avoid cracking the paint. Replace old hinges with the same screws if you are replacing old ones It would fit perfectly if they had the same hole pattern. The screws might not bite if the holes are stripped, so you can add more bite by inserting a toothpick into the wood (hole in the door frame).
Our bronze knob on the pantry looked out of place when we changed over the hardware on the cabinets from porcelain to stainless steel, so we changed it to satin nickel. It only left the door hinges that didn't match. The pantry knob had to be replaced with a matching lever and the pantry lever with a matching lever. In retrospect, these hinges worked just fine because they replaced the old cruddy bronze hinges that also had a bit of paint on them. Moreover, they are good hinges and they were easy to install since the holes matched the existing ones. This packaging was completely unnecessarily heavy for a pair of shoes In spite of the fact that they came in a huge box inside a padded envelope, the hinges were well worth the money. Equally important, the hardware came with a package of matching screws, so that was a great bonus.
A heavy hinge, and cheap, but it is extremely loose, the bottom and top "knuckles" being splayed out creating a large amount of end play than used to be the case even now as no hinges seem to be made as well as they used to. The bottom of the bottle does not have a cap. It was bought for inspection, but it will not be used.
It seems that the two hinges do not fit nicely together when closed on these hinges. It wasn't an issue for most of the doors, but two of the doors had the jamb pushed away far enough to have the door hitting the strike plate when it closed. In the end, I decided that I could bend these hinges so that the halves fit together closer while they were in a vise. The hinges for the two doors were bent to give me an eighth inch of clearance, which was just enough for the doors.
It is therefore necessary to pound out the pins. You will need to look elsewhere if you are looking for hinges that you intend to remove easily so that item you hinged can be easily removed (in my case, they are used to move and aim air circulation fans). To remove the pins, you must use a nail and a hammer. Generally, they are good hinges as they are.
Replace worn out, rusted, painted over, and loose parts with these heavy duty replacements A door hinge is fitted to the Since they were somewhat difficult to find on the internet, I needed to purchase three separate orders to obtain the four Due to my residence in Hawaii and the fact that even plastic rusts, I would love to have a stainless steel replacement! The perfect upgrade for adding style to your front door renovation. Put the brackets on after you paint and people will think you have style.
It is difficult to work with the screws because they are so short and the threads are so rough. There isn't enough hold for the screws to be cinched down tightly, which is required to hang As a result, the heads of the screws ended up being smaller than the hinge holes after I purchased them online through Amazon. The screws that I ordered from eBay were larger. There is a chance that they will.
Having just completed our bathroom remodel, we chose these to go on our bathroom door to match the other brushed nickel elements. I like how sturdy and reliable they are.
