These high-quality hinges and screws make an excellent replacement for exterior doors and are visually pleasing. Look at this There is more of a "Venetian bronze" look in this design (no/only very little bronze peeks through), which corresponds to what I expected to see. I purchased 12 hinges in two orders and found out one set of screws was missing from one of them. Excellent customer service. A set was sent to me by the seller after I contacted him. Please Note Shipping In order to protect each hinge, each comes with an individual protective plastic sleeve. The only thing I would prefer is to have a 3" screw option each for the hinges. Having this feature improves security and ensures that the door is properly balanced.
I ordered them based on a few reviews saying they looked black, so I thought they were worth a try. When I decided to switch out my old door knobs for matte black ones, it took me a tiny bit of time to find matte black hinges that were not too shiny. The matte/satin black ones that I ordered were too shiny, but some of the matte black ones were. I like these hinges. Six hinges - perfect! Hinges of high quality I can't think of a better deal for $20. Here are the ones that I just ordered.
That is complete and utter junk. It has the screw holes lining up side by side but the pins are turned I can't believe you said that. In the end, what you pay for is what you get.
It appears that they called Oil Rubbed Bronze hinges BLACK when in fact they were black with lousy paint and scratches. If you don't trust me, then they will charge you shipping to return the items.
I really like the way it looks. The hinges are not strong enough to be used on an exterior door. It has returned.
My review said they were black, so I bought them because I wanted.
The new doorknobs I purchased did not match the black exterior door hinges. There were no problems with these.
