This paper holder does not fit standard (older) ceramic paper holder styles

This doesn't look anything like the picture! The product shown in the product description is different from the one shown here. It has flat, wide ends, rather than the narrow ends that can fit inside the ceramic built-in toilet paper dispenser in my 1972 bathroom. Spring comes in the springtime It is not possible to use standard older bathroom roller dispensers with loaded ends. Despite not measuring, it probably measures about 3/8 inch in diameter on the narrow end and at least 1/2 inch wide on the wide end. My bathroom has ceramic dispensers that will hold items maybe 1/4" wide. The photo shows a very narrow nib at each end that these rollers do not in fact have. I am returning them and trying another brand. I hope it is not yet another "bait and switch".

The holder fits small holders

The quality is good. I found that the holder fits perfectly in my 70-year-old hand. My eyes were blown away when I saw the diving holes in the holder. A suitable model is not available at Lowe's. The one at the hardware store appeared to not fit perfectly, but this one does and is far cheaper. It appears to be a good quality product. It is unlikely that I will have to replace it in the future.

An old holder I have been using for years has broken. It never occurred to me that these rollers might break. After I saw that, I went to Amazon and found them. I was pleasantly surprised to see how prompt they arrived and how well they fitted in. So, it looks like I still have twenty years left in me.

It had to be the right size

Since the older style wall mount toilet paper holder's are glued to the wall, we needed to find one for this apparently older style mounting. There was nothing I could find at the store that fit. Almost all of them had a larger diameter end and no taper. There are two pieces in this pack with slightly cone shaped ends, and they fit nicely. That's the end of the problem. The fact that I have a spare for something I never dreamed would break is a bit reassuring in these trying times.

There is an error in the listed small diameter of the product

It will work but the holder hole will not fit tightly. As stated, the diameter of the small cone measures 2/8 inches (1/4 inch) therefore, it is 3/8 inches rather than 1/8 inches. My holder was able to fit this product because it is listed as having a 3/8 inches small diameter size.
