Attach the lower rod to the base first, and then attach the upper rod. As soon as you begin to assemble the rod before attaching the base screw, you are more likely to have trouble getting the screw into the rod.

I have really liked what I've seen thus far

I like it in my powder room a lot. This frame is brushed gold and matches the (During assembly, it may be necessary to flip the weight over.

So far, I have only one complaint A smudged surface is easy to clean. Put on gloves while you remove it from the packaging. You may also need them when setting it up.
