The answer is no, according to me. Two parts of this wall attachment attach to the wall. A small bracket needs to be installed first, then the towel bar can be positioned
There is a 2 and a half inch round cover on top of it. I received the screws and small plate with it. This is a very simple and easy-to-install product.

It is probably possible to pull them out with needle nose pliers. You might be able to get them out, but the ring will still flop about, possibly hitting the wall and leaving a mark.

The quality of this is good, and the weight is just right. The program is great, but I can't get it to spent hours on end trying to get it to work. I became When I called Amazon and explained my problem, the agent told me it was probably a defective item. An additional one will be sent to me. My hope is that this one will work. Adding an update Amazon, I apologize so much. It has just occurred to me that I erred in installing the bracket. It is important that the flat part lays against the wall! There is no mention of that in the instructions! All the other people who claim that they could not install it had trouble, I'm sure this is the reason. The bracket was correctly reinstalled after it had been turned over. However, I have not been able to secure it. There is a lot of wobbling. I'm not sure if my hands are strong enough to get it tight. In the next few days, I will ask my handyman to assess the problem.
It is supposed to be installed by screwing a metal piece into the wall, then putting the fixture around the metal piece, and then tightening the screw around the metal piece, which is supposed to hold the ring in place by applying pressure. Due to the curvature of the metal piece, when you tighten the screw, the fixture just moves from it. I have to return the towel ring since it just doesn't work, and now I have two huge holes in my bathroom wall that I need to cover. There has to be a much simpler way to install this item, this is the stupidest install I have.
It should arrive in a few days a simple but protective cardboard box and It appears much more expensive than it is when the unit is out of the box. Despite the cost, the quality of the fit and finish is a far cry from spray painting the ring and costing nearly the same as the new mount. After marking the locations for the screws for the mount, I drilled the holes without issue and installed the screws without issue, too. One thing I dislike about this ring is its very small screw which attaches the ring to the ring mount. Even with a couple small flathead bits, I still struggled to turn the screw fully inside the ring due to how far it recessed. do not think that the screw on the ring needed to be that small, I marked up the bottom of the ring, and I scratched the wall in my attempts. It would be best to have a flathead screwdriver for the ring's retention screw that is small enough to work on watches and the like. Using a small screwdriver borrowed from a friend, I tightened the screw until it was rock solid, and it has been rock solid for the past month. If you don't, you're going to mark up your ring or your wall like I did. It is a highly recommended towel ring for anybody looking for a new one.
I didn't realize that there are two little plastic rings which hold the ring in place right on the sides. The metal is a beautiful color, but I didn't realize there were plastic rings on the sides. The ring could have been completed for much less if they just finished it.

It goes well with all the rest of the things in the room and looks really nice for the price. It was the plastic ring that goes around both sides of the towel ring itself that I colored in with a black sharpie. I did it in just a few seconds, it only took seconds, and the end result looks very.
This is a great one because it comes with a rubber boot in the boot hole Having the towel holder portion keeps your ears from being distracted when someone moves the towel up and down while you are using it. The towel holder is a great purchase if you're looking for a decent one.
