Yes, the answer is surprising. The concern I had was that it would not hold them, but it does.
The instructions do not need to be given. Hole in wall should be at least 1/2" deep and should be the same size as the recessed area on the back of the holder. Set thinset mortar in the wall and tap it into place. The measurements are not accurate until you get the holder, so don't cut holes until you have it.
The size of this cover is 6 3/4" x 5". * From inside back to roller, the size is 2 1/4". There is ample space for large rolls of toilet paper but they fit snugly.
I'd describe the color as an off-white

Exactly what I wanted simple, plain, and to the point. Although I stand by what I said in the review of the event, I realize that a toilet paper roll thicker than others should be rolled with a bit of assistance at the moment of first use due to its thickness. In spite of the holder being included, the initial part of the toilet paper does not roll freely around once it is used.
Arrived in a hurry. Every well has been packaged. My installation was completed in less than half an hour. The search for the right one continued for a long time. Fits like a glove.
In a review of this product, it was noted that it would work well with large and I'm not sure if that's.
