The shelves were exactly what I needed as I was installing a mirror next to them. As far as the shelf design, I chose glass for its clear appearance and lower profile. A solid shelf would produce a hard reflection and would make the mirror seem smaller. This is a great idea. This furniture is easy to assemble, very sturdy, and very beautiful!.
