It takes a lot of force to lift them - In addition to serving as supports for glass shelves, both the brackets extend very far out from the wall. All I can say is that I am not keen on the clear, plastic liner grips on the brackets. They don't seem to belong there, but this is merely an aesthetic matter.

The idea wasn't practical in our master bath, so my husband and I struggled to make it work. The sink was located in the middle of the counter, which was small. Under the oval mirror, we placed this right below it. Our counter space issue was completely solved by this counter space solution. It looks fantastic, is very sturdy, and has no sag. There's only one thing to be unhappy about we struggled for 10 years before I found.

It's a great product. were packaged well in a sturdy box filled with foam and inside of another box of greater size. I had no problems installing the software. The anchors should be used if the wall is not thick enough or if they are not going into studs. It was a real surprise to me when I saw the glass quality! It would be great for displaying products. It was a little costly, but the quality was good so it was not a bad deal.

It's a good shelf

An extra layer of security was provided by the screw in wall anchors. Mount is solid, glass is thick, and the mount feels I am pleased with the way it looks.
