Excellent product! On a classic VW Bus, I had a rust perforation on a rail, and the standard repair is to cut out the section and replace it with new metal. We couldn't find a replacement in time, so we blasted and chemically treated the rust, applied the putty as directed, packed it in from the inside, and sanded it once it was dry. It's a perfect, undetectable, and long-lasting fix. Even the painter from the auto body shop was blown away! Paintable sandbanks at an affordable price. I was able to save 4 days and $900 by using this product. on a single fix Love it!.
Simple to work with. It really works. Simple to work with. There's no need to mix it; all you have to do is work it by hand to activate it. I only used a small piece to make an extremely tight fit between the shaft and the knob (which will never loosen on its own). It cures quickly and hardens to a steel-like hardness. Note: Because it isn't a liquid, it won't penetrate small cracks and is better suited for a bulk application.
This stuff works for a lot of short-term fixes (note the word "short-term"). It's worked for me before to stop leaks in cracked oil pans. and they lasted a long time that way. br>I keep a tube in my emergency road-side kit. tools on the side You never know, it might come in handy in the worst-case scenario. Someday, a scenario situation will arise.

I bought this to fix a small leak in a copper pipe joint. This is a very small leak that oozes water rather than drips. I sanded and cleaned the copper surfaces according to the instructions, mixed the putty, and applied it as instructed. It stuck better to my rubber gloves than it did to the pipe, and it failed to seal this small leak in a copper pipe; perhaps it works better on iron, steel, or plastic pipe? I'd give it a zero-star rating if I could. I had to hire a plumber in the end.
