I haven't tried mailing it yet, but it cures extremely hard, so sanding shouldn't be a problem.
I've used it for a variety of things, including sp magnets. There shouldn't be any issues with the wood. The "red pack" 5 minute epoxy is another option, and it cures much faster. Setting time for this clear version is at least an hour.

Brownells discontinued a similar size a decade ago, and I've been looking for this packaging ever since. Just enough to get you past a problem and onto a good product. No longer do you have to make a big batch, use a little, and throw the rest away.
Epoxy in two parts. A single-use two-part epoxy that comes in a convenient package. The transparent version is a good choice.
It really works.
It took a while to get it, but now that I have it, I'm going to start mending the broken heart of a crystal glass angel. Thank you very much.
This is an excellent method for purchasing epoxy. There is no waste because the batch is small.
It was simple to use, and it assisted in the repair of my crystal vase.
