Selected User Reviews For Gorilla 2 Part Epoxy, 5 Minute Set, .85 ounce Syringe, Clear, (Pack of 4)
This is what I use to glue wood together at the end grain, and it works great. My only real wish for this is mixer nozzles; I only need to use small amounts of epoxy at a time, and having mixer nozzles for these syringes would make doing a lot of small glue joints much easier than trying to squeeze as many as possible out of what I've mixed or mixing many small batches where half of the epoxy gets lost on the cup's edges. It dries strong and clear, which is something I can't complain about. I'll continue to use this product and hope that mixer nozzles in 25 or 50 pack sizes become available.
This product was, in the end, satisfactory. If you take too long, it will begin to clump up. Instead, I tried UV resin, which I wish I had tried first because this product doesn't come with a lot of resin to use, so it adds up as an expense. I use UV resin to seal my snow globes and adhere resin decor on custom art pieces that I make, and it saves me time and money because it cures faster and gives me more product. This product wasn't bad; it was just ineffective for the task at hand. It's also prone to becoming a sloppy situation.
Building a bird feeder out of PVC molding, but no fasteners were allowed because the feeder had to be sturdy and able to hold several pieces together. The PVC material is spongy and will not hold any type of nail, brad, staple, or screw. Even bolts with nuts couldn't be used because the material would split and give way under the slightest pressure. This epoxy hardens quickly and maintains its strength under pressure.
This stinks to high heaven! However, it is the best two-part epoxy available.
They were simple to use and did an excellent job. They were a little on the expensive side for this application, but they did the job.
I'll be buying more because it's perfect for all of my crafts.
Outstanding worth.
