I believe it would work because we used the tape on some football sleds and boards we use for footwork that are outside and it has held up well in the rain, hot sun, and Louisiana humidity. I'll say this: if this tape doesn't work, I'm not sure what will. It's the strongest tape I've ever used, so it's your best bet. I hope this information is useful.br>Best of luck!
I'm guessing yes. I used it to tape a section of my car together after it was hit, and it stayed put for two months, even in the rain. Duct tape with a lot of stickiness. I'm surprised that the answer below says it doesn't stick because it does, and that's why it's so difficult to get off the roll. After duct tape failed me, I discovered this, and I've never been happier! Maybe it depends on what you're planning to do with it.

For making first-time high-integrity repairs on a variety of materials, this product is highly recommended. This is a fantastic duct tape that far outperforms ordinary duct tapes. I'm remodeling a bathroom and had to break out some of the shower's ceramic tiles to see if there was a plumbing vent line hidden behind the stud wall. I ordered T-shirts as a test. REX duct tape was used to see if it could repair the hole in the ceramic tile while also remaining water resistant, allowing the shower to be used until the bathroom was demolished. I made a 6 to 8-inch wide and 9 to 11-inch high hole in the shower wall. The ceramic tiles were not cleaned of shower soap or shampoos in order to test the adhesive's stiction properties. Starting at the bottom of the hole, the tape was applied in strips, each one overlapping the previous one by about 1/2-inch. A good watertight seal should be at least an inch. T- was a name I was unfamiliar with. Before I bought this, I had a REX tape. In fact, I put this in my cart by mistake, thinking it was Gorilla Tape. I decided to give it a try because it was a lot less expensive. Gorilla Tape is a product that I am well-versed in. What I can say is that it appears to be far more durable than any duct tape I've ever seen. You can easily rip a piece of it from the role. In contrast to Gorilla, where you must use scissors or a knife, this could be a good or bad thing. It's a lot easier to work with than Gorilla, but it's not quite as tough. Personally, I prefer a tape that allows me to easily rip a section off. As a result, this is now my go-to tape.
I bought this tape to replace the hinges on my plastic hard drive cases when they break (I'm up to over 30 drives now, and the lids always break, so I use the tape to replace them). But it's only good for that. My tape story is as follows: The bed was pooped by the upstairs hot water heater. I ran a hose from the heater drain to a location outside where I could snake it - I let it drain for a while, and when I returned, there was 1/4" of water on the floor; The hose had split open due to age. My old house has a heater. I threw a large printing tray under it and anticipated bailing the tray for the next hour at school photography darkroom. I took out the tape and began wrapping the hose as tightly as possible. And, damned if I don't say so myself, it did a fantastic job of sealing up the wet house. A few drips made their way through after about 30 minutes, but the tray caught them, and I was able to drain the heater and clean up the mess. For an emergency repair, it was quite impressive, and it saved me from a major headache of water bailing. It's all very good.
I've never encountered a better tape. But it is essential that you clean it first with isopropyl or 70% rubbing alcohol before applying the tape. There's nothing added to the alcohol; it's just pure alcohol. br>Use rags that have been washed. br>I used this tape to reinforce a 16-gauge pvc tarp that I was going to use to cover my deck. to shield you from the sun and rain. The tape and clamps strengthen the tarp much better than the eyes on the tarp, which are relatively weak. You can pull the tarp taut without ripping or pulling the eyes out with the tape and clamps. Purchase a copy and give it a try. It comes highly recommended from me. For the past 40 years, I have worked as a mechanic and technician.

This is fantastic. This is an extremely strong bond. You'll have to work a little harder than you would with regular duct tape, but it'll get the job done. It's so good that it wants to stay on the roll and keeps my fingers there as well. br>A few weeks ago, we used a few layers of tape to cover the cracks in a fiberglass shower floor as a temporary fix. It has held up exceptionally well in daily use so far.
Place the roll on the surface for a few seconds and it will adhere. If you try to cut it with scissors, it will stick to them and take longer to cut through. It has a much stronger adhesive than regular duct tape. If the duct tape you're using isn't holding its shape, it appears to be a good substitute, but it's essentially a two-step process. It's a man's job to put it to use!.
I needed it for a plexiglass/metal project, so I carefully pressed down all sides as I saw in a video to get the most out of the adhesive; however, the next day, it was all hanging off the metal, so I had to cover the T-shirt with duck tape. To make it work, REX taped the edges.
