It worked just as well as the original, and it was only duct tape.
Because this tape is typically used for electrical purposes, it is referred to as gaffers tape. As if you were taping wires to the carpet at a concert or taping on concrete in inclement weather. It doesn't show up on the ground at all over speaker or television wires! Duct tape will do the trick! If you're looking for a unique way to
It's just white, and I use it to temporarily attach decorations to my camper and white siding when I don't want the tape to show. It does, however, have a lustrous rather than a matte finish.
Masking tape, as far as I'm aware, is used to cover areas of a car where the paint should not be removed.

It's not something I'd advise you to do. I purchased the tape to make some repairs, but I regret putting my faith in the Scotch brand name. It was nearly impossible to cut the tape because it was so thick. I gave up on using scissors and had to resort to using a box knife instead. The quality, in my opinion, was poor. It's nothing like regular silver duct tape, which you can tear into strips. It's a good thing it was so inexpensive, because I would have been disappointed. It was a waste of money for me because I am unlikely to use it again.
br>I also have other 3M tapes with the same problem, such as the performance 6969. The top plastic sheet peels off by itself after a few days, or even a day, and the stick fabric mesh goops up loosely. br>An excellent old brand that now produces inferior goods.
I'm not sure if I just got an old roll of this or what, but it doesn't last very long when it comes to duct tape. I'm sick of trying over and over to get a small plastic piece that weighs only a few grams to stick to a piece of wood for more than a day to stick. This is the first time I've ever had a tape fail like this, and it's completely unacceptable. It appears that the only thing it is committed to is itself. This is a product that I do not recommend.
I used it for pvc ducting on my dust collection system, and it didn't stick very well. Under poor holding conditions, the tape also separated and delaminated.
It began peeling off the next morning with any moisture after spending time carefully applying it to a dry plastic object. Very let down.
I was putting up a new wall-mounted television. Instead of using the usual unsightly grey or silver duct tape, I went through A/C and purchased this. This material is simple to tear, adheres well, and improves the overall appearance.
I was delighted to discover white duct tape, which I used to keep my freezer door closed until I could get a new rubber gasket. It's a lot stickier than regular duct tape, which makes it difficult to work with and tear when you need to cut it. It sufficed for the task at hand.
Duct tape is said to be capable of repairing planes. This isn't something I'd use to repair a paper plane. Just keep this in mind:.
