Nuclear grade duct tape is a good option if you're looking for something that won't leave a residue. It's a bit pricey at around $25 per roll, so I'm not sure if it'll be worth it for your application.
Don't leave it in a hot vehicle for an extended period of time; I've found that this destroys these types of tapes.
Yes. It's worked wonders on my soaker hoses, which had tiny holes in them. After more than a year, the patched hoses are still functional.
This tape could be used as a temporary hinge for a small project, but it isn't strong or long-lasting enough to replace a real, metal hardware hinge on a regular basis.

The Gorilla 3044401 Tape Handy Roll is a great, low-cost alternative to expensive rim tape for tubeless tire conversion on mountain bikes. br>br>I keep a roll on hand at all times because the possibilities are endless. Just in case, I keep a couple of 20" lengths wrapped around my MTB's mini pump. You never know when you'll need it out on the trail to strap something to your bike, hold a tear in your tire together temporarily, hold the sole of your shoe on, or for any other reason. br>br>This was the first time I used it to go tubeless on a set of rims. Stan's was the first place I went. Muck- Off's tapes were fine, but the spoke holes on the rim had some rough machining that kept cutting. the tape being punctured I chose the Gorilla Tape because it is thicker. tougher. The rims are 20mm wide on the inside. a well/belly with a lot of depth The Gorilla Tape handled the rim's rough/sharp edges with ease. It also almost completely covered the inside of the rim, leaving just enough room for the tire beads to pass through. The tire beads are ready to use. Both rims "popped" upon initial inflation. This tubeless setup has worked flawlessly for me. br>br>Gorilla Tape Handy Roll may be the right choice if you're looking for a low-cost alternative to tubeless rim tape. That is NOT the item for sale. 1-Roll Gorilla 3044401 Tape Handy Roll, Gorilla 3044401 Tape Handy Roll, Gorilla 3044401 Tape B001E5ZWT4 Pack, Black is only 30 feet long and one inch wide. It's not quite as big as a roll of masking tape. br>br>I expect it to work well for a variety of applications, but you won't get a roll of tape the size of a Duct Tape roll. br>br>It's also misleading because the size is only displayed in METRIC. The length was 9, which I noticed. I measured 14 meters and realized it was only about 30 feet, but the 25mm width read to my brain as two meters (assuming it was duct tape size). 5 inches (one of the other count options actually says 2) 5 cm). All photos of LARGER products should be removed from the page, and the size in INCHES and FEET should be added to the text description.
My phone got stuck in a storm drain the other day. It was on my lap in the car, which I had completely forgotten about. When I stood up to leave, it fell to the ground. through the storm drain I was terrified because not only was it my phone, but it also had my driver's license and debit card in its case, so I threw myself to the ground. I reached in with my arm, but there was at least another foot between my fingertips and the edge of the table. my phone. I tried to flatten myself to get through, but no such luck! I couldn't fit through the storm drain because it was too narrow. The manhole was discovered, but the lid had been bolted shut. I knew it was pointless, but I couldn't stop myself from reaching for my phone and swearing obscenities in the process. There was an old sports ball carcass (I couldn't tell what kind it was anymore) I began to believe that this was going to be my phone's end. My partner then inquired as to whether we had any tape in the car. Because I drive a cheap car, I always have a small roll of Gorilla Tape in my glove box. I've been taping the edges of the windows because the sealant has been melting off. The thin Gorilla Tape does an excellent job of keeping the air out of my windows. While driving, there is minimal wind resistance, but that's another story. We came across a good-sized stick. Wrapped the end in Gorilla Tape, sticky side out, and hung a small tail. I returned to the storm drain and used the tape end of the stick to poke at my phone. The tape had gotten just enough of a grip on my phone to pull it out in less than a minute. I was so relieved that I threw myself to the ground. I was just lying down in the street, thanking my lucky stars and Gorilla Tape. My phone was saved because of your efforts. I assumed it was a passing fad at first. like the whole "gluing" craze of the 1990s. But I thought I'd give it a shot, and WOW. br>At first, I was perplexed by the lack of instructions on the package, but after a few hours of Googling, I was able to figure it out. Everything is now being taped! It is unquestionably a fix-it situation. all. br>Does your fabric have a rip? Tape it! br>Do you have a flat tire? Tape it up! br>Do you have a rambunctious kid? Tape it! br>Are you talking about kittens? Tape it! br>Are you talking about torn tape? Tape it! br>That last one should be avoided. If you're not trained, you can easily become trapped in a vicious cycle of taping that consumes weeks of your life; trust me, I tried it before I was ready and nearly died. It's not a toy to play with tape. Use caution when taping. TAPE.
When I buy a big roll of Gorilla Tape, I always end up peeling off 1" sections and messing up the bigger roll. I also have a habit of carrying a large roll of tape when all I need is a few inches. These issues are solved with this small roll of Gorilla Tape. It's 1" wide, which is ideal for the majority of my Gorilla Tape applications. It's often overkill to use a bigger roll. And because it's so small, I'm more likely to carry it around with me. Yes, the smaller roll contains the same material as the larger roll. It's just that the roll isn't as big. br>br>I've tried a lot of different kinds of duct tape and have come to the conclusion that gorilla tape sticks the best and lasts the longest; I'm glad I have this smaller roll because it means I waste less tape by tearing small pieces from a larger roll.
