It is dependent on the type of finish used. The tape is about the thickness of packing tape. The sticky part isn't much more durable than a good piece of packing tape.
Yes, it adheres to wooden surfaces. I wrapped the wood pilings in the Bay with Gorilla Crystal Clear Duct Tape, and it held!

I just used it to repair a cracked Home Depot bucket (tape on both sides) the other day! The only caution is that if you want to repair something clear, you should not touch the adhesive because it is extremely sticky and will leave your fingerprint on whatever you are repairing! br>For those of you who work for Amazon: One of the star grades you provided for this tape's review was "Easy to remove," which may have skewed the ratings in an unfavorable way. Because this tape is designed to repair items and make them waterproof, "Easy to remove" is not an attribute that a buyer would want in this type of product; in fact, it is the polar opposite of what you would want!.
Granted, it's not much, but it's been stable for a few days now. Unless one of the kids decides to rip it off, I don't think it will leak. I can't even feel it or the edges when I rub my foot against it. br>br>For the time being, I'll give this a five-star rating. br>br>At first, I bought it because of the COVID nonsense that has caused the price of pool toys to skyrocket. In any case, a pool that my wife purchased for $35 is now worth $107. This tape was used to make a baby's blow-up pool. It's a substantial amount of space. While I was walking away, my dog went after it. So far, I've used it to repair all of the holes and tears, some as large as a $1 bill (us), and it's held up well since I inflated it. br>br>I also used the tape to cover the pool's bottom. I haven't had time to refill it with water, but after holding all of the air pressure, I believe it will handle the water well, but only time will tell. br>br>Once I've used the pool, I'll post an update.
I used this to patch a hole in my pool that had developed underwater. I didn't want to have to drain the pool to get it fixed. This tape did a fantastic job. And I've got plenty left over for any other repairs that come up.
The sides are held up by three different rings. The bottom one quickly developed a hole, and the patch kit that came with it was useless, so I went on the hunt for a better solution when I came across this Gorilla tape. I purchased this item, cleaned the area around the hole, applied the tape, and inflated/filled the pool. After a full day of use and an overnight rest - It had not yet been filled.
Initially, I bought a roll of this tape because it was the most convenient option among the tapes available at the hardware store. I needed some wide strips of tape to seal the windows in my greenhouse and prevent the cold wind from blowing them open. br>br>After over a month of snow, cold, hurricane-force winds, and a wide range of temperatures. It's still going strong, with no signs of slowing down. br>br>It's easy to tear into sections, as well as being tough, wide, and sticky. In a zig-zag pattern, the edges have been perforated. It has a zig-zag shape that makes it simple to rip across in sections without the use of scissors or knives, and it won't tangle or stick to itself if you hold it in one hand while placing it in the other. br>br>Overall, I would recommend this product because it is weather resistant to a degree. It is simple to use. In addition, it is crystal clear. As a result, at first glance, it appears to be nearly invisible.
For above-ground pools, this is a fantastic product.
This was used to fix the plastic in the greenhouse. It's fantastic! br>br>Our GH plastic was 6 years old and had a couple of hail punch holes in it; Nothing major has happened. I also used it to patch a larger hole made by a creature trying to get in or out of the GH with a plastic patch. I used rubbing alcohol to clean the plastic before applying this tape. It performs admirably and is heat resistant. That GH plastic might last me a couple more years. Both the tape and the GH plastic are excellent value for money.
When I discovered the hole in my inflated boat, I was overjoyed. Because it was the size of a needle, finding it was difficult. br>br>I covered the hole with this adhesive. It appeared to work at first, but the air tunneled under the tape after 30 minutes. I kept adding tape to it. Bubbles and tunnels continued to form in the air. br>br>Excellent promotion. br>br> This is a waste of money.
