Yes, it can be taken off. It has a similar appearance to the original grey duct tape, but it has a better grip and is thicker, making it more durable. I've used it on a number of projects, and I've been able to remove and reapply it on metal and fiberglass.

Wirecutter (a review website) recommended it, so I bought it. My experience, on the other hand, was not so pleasant. I'm not sure where they tested it or at what temperature, but the dollar bills in my wallet were stickier than this tape on a 50 degree sunny Northern California day. It wasn't even close to being as sticky as similar 3M-brand products. Gorilla or Max- (I'm not a fan of the Gorilla craze, but if it works, it works. ) I'd never considered returning duct (duck) tape before, but everything has its first.
Duck tape isn't made the same way it used to be. If Red Green had to use what's on the market today, he'd be in a pickle. I took it as a good sign when this tape was too difficult to tear and grab the cutters. However, it does not appear to adhere well. It was purchased to cover an atv seat, but it has begun to peel away. I used a strip to keep the door of a small fridge on my deck closed. It's been a week since the strip came loose at the end and didn't get pulled back in time for the opening. br>br>I miss the old tapes that ripped your skin off when you took them off. Please return the items.
I didn't do any research until after I'd placed my order for this nonsense. It's not the seller's fault; it's just that I discovered after it was on its way that Duck Tape is nearly useless. I sincerely hope they go out of business.
It is unbeatable by resistant. I've been using this stuff for years, and I recently bought a roll of black tape because I have an old police car with holes in the roof, and I was able to use it to keep water from getting into the roof and rusting it out. It's extremely durable, water resistant, and performs admirably in that regard. Many of these older police cars have large holes from the light bars, making it difficult to plug them with standard plugs. Get a roll of this stuff, peel off the old tape, and slap the new one on your car. It'll last for at least 3 years. It's a cheap solution to a very expensive problem to fix. It keeps the water out and keeps dirt and debris out of the roof holes. It's perfect for an old police car.
For my animals, I use a blow-up mattress. (A sigh) sigh). A LARGE hole was made by a swarm of cats. So I smeared gorilla glue on a rubber glove, stuffed it into the hole, and (slightly) pulled it out. with duct tape "Duck Tape, Duck Tape, Duck Tape, Duck Tape, Duck " Well, there you have it. It turned out to be a success! It's been two days since the last time I saw you. AT ALL, the mattress has not deflated!
. What I'm going to tape, oooh! "Duck Tape" is one of my favorite movies. " I've used all of them, including Gorilla Tape. Without a doubt, this is the best. br>br>I have a proclivity for pulling. vacuum hoses are being strained making a hole This tape works amazingly well for repairing vacuum cleaners, and I also use it to repair the handles on my 5 gallon buckets. My baby toe was broken today. I'm going to use Duck Tape to secure a popsicle stick to my toe!.
My husband's side mirror collided with the garage door, cracking the casing. He finally agreed to let me "fix" the hole with this tape because the replacement he ordered didn't fit. We live in Texas, and he commutes to work every day, driving 26 miles on the highway. He's had it on for two months and it's still going strong! There are no visible signs of leaking or bleaching from the sun. We're almost out of the roll, so it's a cheap fix for an expensive problem. I would give it a 10/10.
This tape was purchased to repair the bottom of an accent chair in my living room that had been shredded by my kitten. The thin material covering the springs needed to be protected and reinforced. The tape did its job, but I had hoped for it to be a lot stickier. Even though it says it will stick to any surface, some of the pieces I put on barely stuck. But it's staying put, and thankfully, my kitten doesn't seem to mind scratching there any longer. He seemed to enjoy the feel of the spring cover material.
I have a few black Moleskine notebooks, one of which has a broken binding. Given my fondness for duct tape, it seemed like the ideal solution in this situation, but I couldn't bear the sight of a large grey streak across my otherwise black notebook. This duct tape on the back was ideal for the job. The black color blends in nicely with the notebook color, and while you can tell it's there, it's not too noticeable. I'm sure there are dozens of other uses for this stuff, but if you have a bookbinding need in particular, this product is worth considering.
