The rolls do have a plastic "cover" to help protect the individual rolls from dirt, but it is unlikely to keep water out. br>I like that I can buy several rolls at once, so I'll always have some on hand, and I'd buy this tape again if I ever needed more. I'd give it a ten out of ten for all of your plumber's tape needs!.
This Teflon tape is of the same high quality and ease of use as any other Teflon tape I've used before. The 4pk (also available in a 6pk) is more than enough for the tasks I'll encounter.
It's just regular Teflon tape from the store. This is the thicker tape I'm used to, but it's a little less expensive than in the store.
I discovered I had two different sized connections when trying to use a Master Airbrush air compressor with my powder coating gun. On Amazon, I found a brass adapter, but it was a tight fit that was constantly leaking air. To begin with, it isn't a particularly powerful compressor, so my project was put on hold until the issue was resolved. br>br>I wasn't sure how this worked, but a lot of online resources said to tape the threads with PTFE tape. This was a last-ditch effort for me, and I wasn't sure if it would work. The male thread was wrapped around the fitting three times. It had to be done four times to completely seal the connection. There will be no more leaking air or hissing around the connections.
Teflon tape will be required at some point if you do any plumbing. That's a fact; having four rolls on hand ensures that I'll never be without tape. br>Excellent purchase. Thanks.
I'm glad there were so many of these because the tape starts to shred about halfway through and you can't use that roll any longer. As far as I can tell, you get what you pay for.
I was worried it would be cheap and thin because the price for four rolls was the same as a single roll of some brand products. It's not. I've used it on both inside and outside threads, and it's just as good as the name-brand stuff. This seems to be something I'm always running out of. I also appreciate the fact that it was packaged in a sealable plastic bag by the manufacturer or seller. It's simple to keep all of your extras in one place and hang them on your pegboard.
