Questions & Answers
Doesn't work well, as the inside of the car couldn't keep the cables in place in the hot Arizona weather. The glue starts to melt. Is it safe to assume that the temperature inside the car will be around 150 degrees Fahrenheit?
Yes, but their front legs must be handled with caution. They may wrap themselves around the tape's edge and start caressing your fingers, begging you to let them go. Alternatively, you can make insecticidal soap at home, which is a low-cost option. a low-toxicity bug control solution that will dehydrate the soft bodies of aphids and kill them without harming your plants Simply combine a few teaspoons of liquid dish soap with one quart of water, then spray or wipe the mixture onto the plants' leaves, stems, and buds.
You should be fine as long as you wrap the entire strap and purse in duct tape; there are plenty of fashionable duct tape purses available.
In the rain, I've used it to secure electric cords to cement walkways. When I put it up, it was completely dry.

After reading the description, I decided to order this tape, as 3m is a well-known brand. However, I now realize that all I bought was their brand name; the product is the same plastic-based duct tape sold by all the other no-name suppliers. If you want the real deal, go with Nashua Cloth Grade Duct Tape, which I use for everything from holding signs to fixing broken tie rods on my Baja 500 race car. Plastic tapes do not provide straightness or durability, which I require. Gaffers tape is a type of tape that is widely used in the film industry. When torn, it does not curl or leave a mess of glue behind.
The Good: Following the caulking of my never-before-used caulking gun, used- yet- My Toyota 4-door has a leaking sunroof. For the second time as a runner, I purchased this as a last-ditch effort to avoid costly dealership repairs. It's been a month of drenching Spring weather, and it's still going strong. It was simple to apply, and I had plenty left over for future patch jobs. $5 is a great deal. The Drawbacks: br>br> So far, I have no complaints, other than a dry passenger seat, so I'm satisfied, but I'll update my review if this changes. Advantages: br>br>
- br>Easy to usebr>- Waterproof to a degreebr>- Cons: It's a nice upgrade from regular duct tapebr>br>Pros: It's a nice upgrade from regular duct tapebr>br>

I mixed this up with 3M's AUTO all-weather tape, and there's no comparison. I used it to tape the outside of my air conditioning units, but it only lasted a month before peeling off the unit's face. I've never had a problem with AUTO all-weather tape, but this stuff isn't even close. If you're going to use it outside (in the weather), spend a little more and get the AUTO all weather.
It adheres well and, as stated, leaves no residue. br>br>Initial review revision- br>After only 3 weeks, I removed the tape and found the same amount of residue, if not more, than other brands of duct tape that did not advertise no residue. Now I have to put in the time and effort to get rid of all of the leftovers.
My family and I have always used "duck tape," but it wasn't until I was an adult and needed to use it indoors that I realized how important it was for the glue to not stay behind after it was applied. AND, wow, does this stuff get the job done. br>br>It's just as easy to tear with your fingers as the original, but it's a darker, deeper gray color, almost black but not quite. br>What's more, you don't have to sacrifice strength for the added benefit of not leaving glue behind. It's strong enough to support my LED lights in places where I couldn't nail, screw, or staple them. br>br>And when compared to standard "sure tape," this is light years ahead of the competition and well worth the extra money. br>After one use and removal, the other stuff leaves a sticky gunk. br>When used on granular wood with an LED heat source, this tape leaves no glue or slime weeks later. br>br>In the future, I will only use this for construction and work projects.
It's similar to duct tape, but it's specifically designed for tarps and outdoor use. I used it to tape two tarps together to cover my outdoor storage, and it's worked out well so far (except for one small piece that came off in my book, which isn't too badddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd.
I bought two rolls of Scotch 3M Tough Duct Tape to use for outdoor applications that I want to last through the wet, cold winters in the Pacific Northwest, and my first use of it was to patch a roof on my well house. The roofing was made of metal awning, and there were a couple of drill holes that needed to be patched. To hide the tape, I decided to use it and then paint over it. It looks great and, more importantly, it sealed the holes, which was the goal. It was easy to use and adhered to the metal perfectly. I was also able to paint over it without the tape peeling up. br>br>I'll use this tape on painted cement and tarp material as well. I'll update this review as my experience with the product grows, but for now, I'm giving it five stars because it's working as expected.
- br>br>10/23/15: br>br>10/23/15: br>br>10/23/15 I used this tape to cover a wood cover for the crawlspace in my house because it is easy to tear. It's very simple to use, and it's just in time for our first big rainstorm. It did a great job of keeping the rain off the plywood it was covering while also looking nice. This product has exceeded my expectations, and I would not hesitate to purchase more if necessary.

Every two years, she manages to obliterate a mailbox. I thought I'd gotten it right the last time I installed a plastic box instead of a metal one, and we've only been together for two years. I was ecstatic because I had managed to outwit her. But then I heard a crack as I went out to extract a package that she had jammed in there. This time, it wasn't the mailbox that had broken, but the metal support bracket that had broken from the post; I needed to act quickly or risk losing my mail, so I wrapped regular duct tape around it and it worked pretty well! But I knew it wouldn't withstand the elements, so I ordered this and carefully wrapped it around it to disguise it as a design element. I have to say, after a couple of months of snow and rain, this mail carrier is still as tight as it was when I first put it up. Now I'm waiting to see if it will withstand the heavy construction that is currently taking place on my street. It's possible, in my opinion. But if it doesn't, I'll simply add more! Please don't be hesitant to contact us. It's fantastic! It can withstand anything if it can withstand the USPS.
