There is an error in this description. A typo has been made on the website, which states that "Neutral curing sealants adhere to more surfaces, including most metals, aluminum, stainless steel, vinyl siding, masonry, brick, granite, concrete, stucco, asphalt, wood, glass, and plastic. ". It does not specify what metals it adheres to, but only that it adheres to aluminum, stainless steel, brick, concrete, granite, and masonry. So, clearly, stucco, wood, glass and plastic are not intended to be used with it. This is applicable only to metals.
One of those metal carports / garages I bought was 30 x 30 on a concrete slab so it was level that if I tossed a ball on it it remained still. It rained frequently inside the garage because it did not have any sealer between the metal frame and concrete, so water got in there when it rained. You cannot get more frustrating than this! It was a pleasure using this GE GE5050 Silicone sealer - it worked like a charm, thank you. I am totally blown away by the color and how it makes it.
There was a problem with the first tube Instead of dispense caulk through the cut tip of the tube when using a caulk gun, the bottom of the tube just pushed up into the tube. A torrent of caulk poured out of the bottom, which created a huge mess. A replacement was sent by Amazon, but I still had the same problem (though I only pushed the caulk trigger a couple of times so I wasn't able to This loosens the caulk inside the open tip and allows it to be dispensed. I used a metal punch to puncture the caulk and this helped allow it to flow The camper l had been sitting for 60 years and I used the caulk to seal the outside. As you can imagine, this stuff is sticky! (I wore disposable gloves!) These were a perfect match to the metal trim. You can use the fingers of your gloves to smooth out the caulk bead, and use a disposable rag to wipe away excess caulk from your gloves and the project surface. The product is great!.
A layered silicone sheet worked great to repair weld dents in a metal roof. I used it to patch an 8-inch hole in a metal roof. There is a 25-inch gap. will buy again and am looking forward to receiving it when it arrives.
It's the bomb. Within 30 minutes, the surface is dry and ready to be exposed to water. silicones on the motor and hose assembly on a bird bath fountain, submerged it for an hour and then used on the motor. It is easy to use. I use it on my aluminum boat for screw holes and mounting equipment and do not have any issues. It is a very good match for silver aluminum.
