Once I have set the time I want it to come on and off, I adjust the dial to the current time and plug it in. I have seen mine come on and off as intended. You can turn it on/off manually by sliding the switch in the top from left to right instead of using the remote control. A timer can be set up to run automatically.
You will need to slide the tip of your finger under the outer lip of the black disc with a lot of slots. Similar to a sun flower, it looks like this. Hold on to the flat slotted pins while pulling around the disc as you lift them Take a look at the disc's center. The time of day must be set to the current time. Find the time on the outer disc you want the power to come on at, and then the time on the white disc means that it is daytime and black indicates that it is nighttime. Push the pins until you reach the time you want the power to shut off (clockwise) with a toothpick or something similar. Then you can raise the pin or pins back up if you go a little further than you expected. Finally, you will see an image of a clock, you need to slide the toggle over to it. There's nothing left for you to do.
This low of a temperature is not experienced by me. There is a very good chance the manufacturer can help you if you ask them. They have been very helpful to me.
The sum of 5 and 4 is 15. A 2 x 1 multiplied by a 2.

In the process of removing the plastic from the time on/off tab, a portion of it broke, but I was willing to deal with it since I will be using it indoors in the basement where no one will be seeing In the week or so after the timer has been working, I have noticed that the lights do not come on when they should However, the malfunctioning has not been consistent. On occasion it occurs in the early stages of the on/off The middle is sometimes the best place. I find that the current flows properly after I unplug the timer and plug it back in. The lights flicker as well when I take the timer in my hand with the current on and the device is plugged in. Although I trusted the certification of this product because it was an Amazon Choice item, I will return it and will be more careful in the future about choosing Amazon Choice items.
Therefore, the second-best rating is based on the fact that we cannot use it. We might not be able to tell, but it might work. However, I was really bothered by the fact that it would not fit in the outdoor outlet I bought it for because of the cord orientation and angle. We obviously didn't see that when we bought it, so be aware of the angle if you have any kind of weather-related issues. Putting a protective box around the outlet may not be the best solution I have updated In the end, we just used it in a different place than where we had originally envisioned it. We really, really wanted our bug zapper to be on a timer. Since then, it has worked well for us Despite my previous comments, I still stand by my conclusion that the buttons are hard to manipulate, but it does exactly what we hoped for and turns our zapper on and off whenever The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because of the frustrations mentioned previously, but if you have an easily accessible outlet and don't mind struggling with the buttons to get them to work exactly how you want them (and then never touch them again), this is a pretty good.
Even though the timer received bad reviews, I bought it because it was affordable. It was hard for me to pull up the buttons in all places until I realized that the dial spun, then it became easier. It was simple to set the time and I am pleased that it works as it should. The filter in our pool is perfect for us. We have either left it on too long or didn't turn it.
Two of these are used in my rock fountain to turn them off We tend to get algae in the fountains during the warm months. The best way to get rid of algae is to hose down the area every week and apply algaecide. It is better to turn off the pump at night so that it will dry out and kill the *lol* The timer operation is as frustrating as falling off a cliff. To turn them on or off, there are 48 tabs with 30 minute settings. By pushing down the tabs with your finger or pulling them up with a small screwdriver, you can easily find the location of the tab. It's just a matter of rotating the time to align with a pointer, and that's all there is to It took about 30 seconds to complete the installation. It will not be a problem with the weather, since the area has little rain. The timer is hidden under a pile of small rocks so that it will be sheltered from the sun.
It's very hard to manipulate the pins and they are This pass was by a very Last night I attempted to use it. It's frustrating to deal with As part of the instructions, you'll need to push buttons. Buttons are not what they are. Plastic keys (just like on a piano) with many oversized or unfinished are cheap, soft, and easily damaged. It is common for buttons not to go all the way up or to simply stick in position in the It would be too risky to trust my home and safety to such a poor design and finish.
The same result was obtained every time I set it up - Using it the first night works however, any following night it fails to work. As well as the clock, I have noticed that it does not keep time. There is a possibility that I simply got a dud in the batch, since so many people seem to like It appears that a few people had the same experience as I did, but the majority doesn't. Here's something to consider if you're looking to buy this timer for outdoors.
It was perfect for turning on and off our little waterfall pump in the garden pond using this timer. I use it constantly, and it works perfectly, and is water-resistant, so I can use it in an area that is occasionally wet. This device can be programmed to automatically turn on and off multiple times during a 24-hour period, and the settings can be modified to suit your needs. It is a 24 hour mechanical timer, so it cannot be programmed to switch on and off Overall, though, this is a durable outdoor timer at an affordable.
Some seem to be complaining about something that I don't understand. As I've been using this for pumpkins in the fall and Christmas laser lights with on and off features since Nov, it's on for my third year using it. It is in Jan every This is in use when the weather is cold. The end of September and the beginning of October were hot and sunny. I really like how the product is built and how it works. You set a timer with a slide switch and push the black tabs that make up the outer ring down for the times you want power. In the dark or light colored area, you set the timer by rotating the time setting dial to the appropriate time. This device works very well and can't be beaten for the price. Buying a mechanical product that works and stands up over a long period of time is refreshing. There is no additional fluff to wade through, such as Alex and WiFi. As with your other electrical clocks, you just need to reset the time when the power goes out. Normally I wouldn't forget something so obvious, but I have forgotten about this before and wondered why it seemed odd.
