Questions & Answers
If you touch the LED bar/bulb while testing it, you may be shocked because current is flowing through it. When I simply touched the probes, however, I was never shocked.
I got this one first and it DID NOT WORK, it was supposed to check the back lights on TV to see what worked and what didn't, but what it did was put way too much voltage and burn the back lights out, so you end up replacing ones that were good, so after that mistake I got a little more expensive and it worked just fine, the good one I got was X00249NZ1H, and it worked exactly like it was supposed to, the way it worked is when you check the back
It turns on the LED bulb/strip to ensure that all of the LEDs are operational.

Backlight tester that is simple to use. I had no trouble testing LED strips for screens up to 70 and 75 inches. Individual leds or the entire row can be tested with this device. Don't waste your time testing backlights with a multimeter; instead, use a more powerful power source like this one. br>br>If it came with a manual listing backstrip voltages for each model of TV, it'd be the holy grail, allowing you to quickly rule out whether or not aftermarket strips would work with your TV. My original strips were only pulling around 50 volts, whereas brand new aftermarket strips were pulling 55 volts. The higher voltage strips, it turned out, caused the television to malfunction and shut down. As the strips illuminated, I assumed I needed new power or main boards, but I was mistaken. Finally, I installed various manufacturer led strips at only 49 volts and had a fully functional television.
I took my television to a repair shop for a free diagnosis, but they misdiagnosed it and nearly charged me $200 for nothing. I bought this tester and it confirmed that the problem was with the leds. This is a welcome addition to my toolbox.
Used to troubleshoot the LED backlighting on an LG television that had a flashing red power light and a black screen. It was very useful for testing and locating faulty LED strips.
It was a simple test because 11 of the 12 strips had one led out each.
It's very simple to use, and you can test a single LED or a 50" side TV with 35 LEDs. In a matter of seconds, you'll know whether your LEDs are working properly or not, and if not, you'll be able to pinpoint which ones are to blame.
Any TV/electronics technician should have this book on their shelf. Troubleshooting does not require complete disassembly. It allows you to save a lot of time that would otherwise be wasted.
It went off without a hitch. It took about 2 minutes to locate the faulty LEDs in our large television.
Worked perfectly, arrived on time, and was exactly as described.
