Product Description

** Measuring active power (real power) is the only ability of the meter. A power indicator does not appear. You should make sure that the power you measure is pure sine wave from a DC-AC inverter. Unless this precaution is taken, the meter may be damaged by fire
A.V. test range One-phase 80 - 260 V AC power, 50 - 60 Hz A.C. current test range 0 - 100 A B. Inner diameter of the CT 15 mm/0. Approximately 6" tall.
There is also an overload alarm function (overpower threshold, backlight, and power flickering prompts).
The backlight can be turned on or off by pressing the camera's button briefly, and the backlight status is automatically saved after power-off, and the energy data is stored when the camera is turned off (resettable).

Questions & Answers

Connect the load leads directly to the battery or must a series of car battery cables be connected to this device then routed into the battery?

It is your LOAD that is connected to the load. A radio, a fan, and a You need to provide the battery with whatever you want. The cables for the car battery such as the start-up and charging cables I cannot handle charging and other related tasks that would be encountered in something about this size You seem to be quite new to this. Playing with batteries and other devices is not a good idea You should not use high power unless you understand how it works

Would you please let me know how I can change the display to English?

The majority of my upbringing was in English, and I didn't even know about these The cumulative wattage needs to be reset, but I cannot guess how to do that In hour reading, you hold the one button down for some time. I would hypothesise that if there is any way to change the language it requires holding that button down for some time before subsequent steps are followed. In any case, I just hope that I'm offering encouragement rather than an answer that we can probably It might be like Indiana Jones, where you need to decode it

The DC 6 is capable of implementing this. From 100 volts to 0 volts Are the 20A units able to display both a negative current when the battery is discharging and a positive current when it is Do you know what minus sign means?

I am not sure if this totalizer will recognize negative flows. A large number of CTs are oriented towards a particular direction. The product I'm using does not do this but I am sure there is one that This cheap meter might pose a fire hazard. I had 3 of them, but I was disappointed that they had a design flaw that made them a fire hazard. If you look online, you will find reviews from people who have burned them down. My first thought was this a fluke, but I saw the problem with all 3 of mine as well. I would greatly appreciate it if you told me if you found a quality meter like this for a much higher price. I continue to look for a job. A major problem is that the meters leak voltage into the CT lines from the power cables. There shouldn't be any electricity flowing through the CT's, rather an induced voltage or current should be generated that needs A CT is fed with power when it gets hot and hotter.

Can you tell me how much power is consumed by ?

It only consumes a tiny amount of power thanks to the display, which is less than a watt I believe. The power used is negligible, only watts per day.

There is a fire hazard on campus! There is a risk of electrocution! One reviewer showed a picture of them as fire hazards, and I purchased two of these and one of another brand
3/5

Every item has the same problem as one reviewer showed. They were used to measure loads that were powered by 220 volts. As far as the CT wires are concerned, it puts 220 volts into them. The way they are working now is not what they should be doing. It is likely that CT wires will have low voltage, no more than 15 for sure. A charge of 3 volts is needed. It is important to remember that the CT can overheat and cause a fire. Also, if you don't realize this, you can get shocked by the wires if you touch them while connected. You should check the terminals on the back and check the voltage to ground, not the other CT terminal at if you have one, as this will read zero like measuring on two wires at once. This is a serious manufacturing flaw or unacceptable design at the very least.

If you choose to use this, make sure to use You must be careful when experimenting! In response to Here is the version that includes AC
3/5

It looks like a good deal at first glance - but, as you look deeper, you see that it's not really that great. It costs a little money, but you get voltage, amperage and frequency, plus some derived values on the side. These three measurements need only be coupled with When I first started building my Kill-unit, I thought it would be something creative Power in Watts Take a look at the style meter and you'll issue is that at its low price, it comes at a high cost for safety, and once you take into consideration everything you must do to make it safe, the price becomes quite steep. Although you might expect that you would need to run power *through* this device, this is actually not a good In order to connect two wires at 120V, you have to use screw terminals, which might be appropriate for 220V, but they are clearly unsafe for 120V. It is 100% likely you will end up with a whisker short. You also won't be able to fit a ferrule larger than a black in there Therefore, you are better off making a little wye instead of using a junction. Just connect the display to a single pair of wires from the meter, and do not run the power through the meter. Due to the fact that you won't be putting much load over the wires, you may be able to use much smaller wire for this purpose. Make sure the CT donut is wrapped around one of the load wires. Although this is a pretty safe system even with good connectors and ferrules, keeping it open is still pretty dangerous. If it must be contained, I believe it should be put As a result, while the rectangular hole is relatively easy to cut, it will require more precision. And unfortunately, the tabs that hold the meter in place are small and fragile. The two of them don't seem to be holding tightly or for a very long time. If I glue it into place or find a better mounting solution, I might consider that as well. Turning this into a Kill-operation was the right decision Power in Watts The price of the energy meter is still going to be high
* An extension cord to cut in half
* A butt cable for the ground (or a ground lug in a metal project box)
* 2x three-foot cables The connections between the terminals. * 2x short pieces of wire, maybe from the same extension cord. * 2x white ferrules for the CT wires. * 2x black ferrules for whiskers. * I used wire nuts, but lever nuts could have been used. In the end, maybe this isn't the best investment - a project box, 2x cable glands, and after all that, maybe it isn't worth it after all. Your saving project was not as helpful as you thought.

Once you read the instructions the second or third time, it works great
5/5

I've been using HiLetgo DC 6 on a Windows computer. Zero volts, 100 volts Using the "20A LCD Display Digital Ammeter" program, I was able to figure out whether the LiFePo4 batteries were also In the meter, I was shown that I would be able to expect 145 watt hours of energy against a specification of 153 watt hours. Without this meter, I would not have been able to know this. Reading the instructions more than once is necessary to understand what exactly is being said. Fortunately, there is no charge for storing watt hours The data is volatile and will be lost when a power cycle is performed. Wh meters are very easy to reset by simply pressing and holding the toothpick button for a few seconds until the word clear appears, release it quickly, and then push and release it again to reset it Once you read the instructions several times, it becomes apparent how to do it. The price is very reasonable when you consider what you get, and I would buy the same thing again without a second thought.

I am amazed! This one has an integrated shunt, which makes it stand out
5/5

As a result of the shunt, this is a lot easier to wire than other comparable products I have used in the past. My testing range seemed to confirm the accuracy of this power supply, and it appeared to agree with the figures I derived from my bench power supply. As a back-up plan It shows up nice and crisp on the lit screen. You won't have any trouble reading it. My use of some of the alarm features and other things like that is probably not going to be worthwhile. A great use for this would be to- This module's case will fit into a 12 volt SLA battery bank compartment. You will be able to see what the voltage is of your battery and how much power you are drawing from it as soon as you hook him up to the fused battery terminal and run some cigarette lighter jacks, etc. What it is is basically a pretty handy "kill-and-run" device The "watt" device you can use to measure energy usage can fit into any small project you are developing.

It is an inexpensive way to measure current
5/5

Whenever I am working on a project, I seem to always need a sense of the current progress. There is a limit of only 2 amps on my Fluke meter. As a result, the only thing I have so far to measure more is this device. This product is simply amazing for its price. Getting a case and some front panel jacks for this is a good idea if it is For others, it might be like this Due to its low cost and significant benefits, having just this device is enough to satisfy most needs. You should keep in mind that 20 amps at 100 volts is a serious situation. The DC version of the program is what I purchased. If you were to use AC on it, that would likely be a very bad idea. A quick look at the AC version shows that it goes up to 260A. You should use this with extreme caution because it could be downright frightening.
