With the leads attached, I'll be able to squeeze in, but it'll be a tight fit. fit, term damaging You can connect the leads on the back and keep them connected on the front, but you'll have to wrap the cords around the multimeter to fit everything in. It'll get the job done, but it'll be unattractive. If you go that route, I wouldn't put anything else in the lid's pocket because it would make it difficult to close.
It uses . Ceramic fuses with a 500 mA rating. Because it's not cheap, double-check that it's blown by using a continuity meter.
I've never had a fuse blow on mine, so I've never had to open the case to replace one. Please accept my apologies for not being able to assist you. To keep your device safe, you'll need fuses.
This case is made specifically for the Kaiweets HT118A.

Like most people who work with tools on a regular basis, I make an effort to keep them in good working order. After purchasing a KAIWEETS HT118A Multimeter, the next step was to find a case to keep it safe when not in use. This case appears to be well constructed and fits perfectly. The instruction manual, test measurement probes, and temperature probe all fit comfortably into the web pocket. The case is padded for shock absorption and made of a material that prevents dirt and moisture from getting to the electronic device you've placed inside. This purchase has made me very happy, not least because of the low price.
So, once you've loaded the case with all of your cables and attachments, you won't be able to close it without putting strain on the zipper. It's a real shame, because this is a really nice case. I had a friend sew in a zipper that has about 3/8" more fabric for a total of 3/4" extra space, and it's now perfect. It could probably use an internal zip flap to cover accessories and separate it from the meters side.
This case is well-made and appears to offer excellent protection for your meter. The following is my only criticism: Between the meter and the pocket, the case requires a bit more room. I had to leave one set of leads out because it was nearly impossible to zip the case shut with both sets of leads and accessories inside. (I purchased this case along with their meter and test lead kit. ) ) Aside from that minor snag, I'm very pleased with everything and think it's well worth the money.
This meter was purchased to replace my 35-year-old Beckman, which had finally died. I no longer dabble in electronics, but we are now a full-fledged family. I, along with other RVers, require a good meter in order to troubleshoot problems. Shoot everything electrical that comes to mind. This meter has more features and functions than my Beckman meter from the 1970s. at a tenth of the cost (not including inflation!). I've used it a few times since it arrived, and I'm very pleased with it.
I was given the KAIWEETS multimeter as a gift and needed a case to keep it in because I was just sticking it back into the box it came in after each use, which wasn't ideal. Anyway, I came across this case that appears to be custom-made for what I require, so I placed an order for it. It's a well-made case that appears to be very sturdy, and the multimeter fits snugly inside. I didn't realize it was water resistant until I spilled some water on it and was blown away by how dry everything inside was. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't survive a swim, but it's nice to not have to worry about my gear being ruined by some random water. Overall, I would strongly advise you to purchase this item.
Exceptional outcomes. Because I primarily use it for AC and DC systems in my home and RV, I won't be using much of the functionality that others have tested. It's a nice, sturdy case. In comparison to my Amprobe multimeter, the voltages were spot on. When the time comes, I'll keep this on hand in my RV for troubleshooting. I'm confident that it will serve me well when the time comes.
This is the second time I've written a review for this product. What I forgot to mention or commend about this product is that when checking continuity, the meter actually displays a corresponding LIGHT! There have been a million times when this feature would have been extremely useful in a noisy factory environment! It also aids in the prevention of meter and, more importantly, user-related accidents!.
The padded case is well-made and has a carrying strap. The probes and instructions fit perfectly in the side pocket of the multimeter. In addition, the case is water-resistant. The padding protects against damage if the bag is dropped. To avoid damage to the screen, I recommend placing the meter on the opposite side of the case from the probes that protrude from the side pocket.
