If you are measuring DC voltage, the input impedance of the digital meter is an extremely important specification. This specification has a value of 10 million ohms in general. Amazon didn't have this information listed anywhere on its site, so I decided to take a chance and buy A pamphlet that came with this meter states the resistance is 10 million ohms. The meter and a 6 Volt Battery in series were used along with a 10 Million Ohm resistor to verify my measurements. I was not surprised to see 3 Volts on the Voltmeter. My favorite thing about it is that it can be used to troubleshoot problems with automotive electrical systems.

The meter I've used is far and away the best I've ever owned. For me, it's the perfect combination of AUTO and a touchscreen. In terms of the OFF button, it's all the way to the left, so I don't have to remember where to place it. The display is big and backlit as well. If this one doesn't have backlighting, I will not buy another one! It was all around perfect for me and my There will be a second one for me.

It is not expensive, but I'm still alive, so it can be accurate enough with testing indoor live wires and testing resistance. As a recommendation, I would suggest.

Despite having 3 cheap old multimeters in a drawer, I could not get a zero reading on any of them on what should have been a continuity test. (When the leads are touched together on ohms setting, you should get flat resistance, and your unit should function correctly. did some research on Amazon and settled on this unit which, as it turns out, was also I found this one to be the strongest because it features an audible continuity check, which my previous 3 did not have. As well as when done the standard way, it worked. As a result, I used it for testing capacitors and it worked just fine. A great asset to this tool are the lead clips that are built into it to store leads and the live line checker. My overall experience was quite satisfactory, and I would recommend it for the average consumer.

I had difficulty diagnosing an alternator problem, but the product helped me out. I am far more impressed with this one than the free one from Harbor Freight. The product will be purchased again without a doubt.

Worked as expected and appears to be well constructed. a voltmeter, and it does what it is supposed to. I was blown away by the way it was packaged. It even had an extra silicone "shock" shield around it just in case the user dropped it.

A new battery is needed for one of my cars so I can check its voltage, draw, etc. The equipment paid for itself within a few minutes, was inexpensive, and accurate. I'm sure I'm happy to have this in my toolbox.

If you need a little help with electrical work at home, I am glad to help. The outlets, the light fixtures, and the switches are all new. In order to complete these projects, I need all the guidance I can get from this multimeter. With its convenient size, rugged plastic case, and easy-to-read font, this calculator is perfect for any office. There is only one slight nit in my review the battery inside was dead on arrival. I can fix that easily enough.
