Have you experimented with the three modes available? I'm not sure where I found them in the app, but they're there. Hopefully, you'll find one of the modes to your liking. Best of luck!
The scheduling function is fantastic. Not only can you choose when and how lights turn on and off, but you can also choose what level of dimming they should be at. I'm not sure if you're asking if you can program it to simply tell you when sunrise and sunset will occur (i.e. However, if it is connected via Alexa, it may be possible to do so (for example, as a daylight sensor).
yes - I tested it with two strings and it worked fine; however, because this product has a maximum capacity of 400W, if you use LED bulbs, you should be able to connect four or five strings without issue.
Yes, you can adjust the light by simply pressing and holding the button; it's very convenient!

I bought this dimmer to control the string lights that I installed on my shop porch. br>br>I used the Smart Life app for installation, as I did for all other TreatLife products. You don't really need manuals to do new things once you've become familiar with their products. The Alexa app automatically detects and adds any new products that are installed, which is very convenient. In my home and shop, I use Echo and Echo Dots. Keep in mind that you should be on the same 2 when using your phone app (SmartLife). All of your devices should be connected to a 4 GHz WiFi network (I have two separate networks at home). br>br>Dimmer works great, no flicker with LED bulbs; however, there are settings in the app that allegedly provide more power control options to eliminate flicker; I didn't need them, so I can't comment on them. But it's a neat feature to have. br>br>I'm sure I'll come up with more ways to "smartify" things in the near future; it's been a lot of fun. I'm glad I happened upon TreatLife products by chance; sticking to one system or brand has proven to be beneficial to me.
I'm overjoyed that I purchased this clever dimmer for our porch string lights! All I wanted was a plug with an on/off switch so I wouldn't have to keep plugging and unplugging the wire every time I used it. I decided to give it a shot after seeing the dimmer and smart options. br>br>This is really cool, and you'll see why if you watch my video! It appears that I should have purchased it at the same time as my lighting. The remote control, which uses a smart WiFi connection, works surprisingly well from anywhere in my house, even when I'm not there! My entire family, especially the kids, were blown away when we discovered how easy it was to control the lights using the TreatLife app! The initial setup was extremely simple, and the instructions were very straightforward! The gadget appears to be weatherproof and durable. If anything changes, I'll let you know. br>br>Moods for various occasions were created by varying the brightness of the lights! To get the most out of the lights, I strongly suggest using a dimmer. The LED lights (Solatec LED String Lights, Shatterproof) did not flicker at all. After using the voice control, I wanted to go smart on more plugs and switches in my house. TreatLife App has many features such as setting timers, schedules, controlling multiple devices, and so on. Because my Alexa is in another room, I installed Google Voice and Google Home on my iPhone to use voice control. I tried connecting my iPhone to the Home app and Siri, but it wouldn't connect. Only Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant are mentioned in the package as voice assistants that are fully integrated. The fact that the dimmer can be used both automatically and manually is also a plus. The lights can be turned on and off using the dimmer's on/off switch. The dimmer feature can also be activated manually by pressing the on/off button repeatedly until the desired level is reached.
My patio lights were too bright, so I purchased this product. As the night progressed, my eyes began to squint due to the bright lights. Then I came across this product, which allows me to (occasionally drunkenly) call Alexa! Turn down the lights on the string! And by God, if she doesn't dim the lights perfectly, I'm going to kill her. My electrician husband approves of the sturdy, well-built plug, stating that it should withstand the test of time and even weather.
It was as simple as plugging it into an outlet and connecting the lights. It functions admirably. I didn't connect it to Alexa because it would require me to enter the house every time I wanted to dim or brighten the lights to give the device a command. It's simple to select the desired brightness by pressing the button. I'm pleased with my purchase. br>.
I'm looking forward to using this new outdoor smart switch for Halloween and Christmas lights; I'm currently using a plug-in smart switch. I enjoy being able to program a time and intensity in Dimmer on my porch. The build quality is excellent, and it works flawlessly. You can also use Google Home and the Assistant to control your switch. br>I had a fantastic time in general. happy. I've been using Treatlife brand switch lights for nearly all of my home's switch lights, and having this outdoor plug-in is a great addition. Dimmer has been an excellent addition to my home automation system. .
I kept reading how easy it was to integrate with Google Assistant/Home, but I wasted an hour trying to follow the directions (which simply said to click the Add New button in Google Home and follow the instructions) or find something online. Treatlife used to use the Smart Life App, but the printed instructions that came with the dimmer now say to download the Treatlife App. I signed up for the Treatlife App and was able to get the dimmer up and running in no time. Connecting it to Google Home, on the other hand, is not so simple. As of today, there is no Treatlife App for Google Home (I couldn't find Treatlife as an option to connect to when I clicked add a new device in Google Home). I eventually downloaded the Smart Life App, added a dimmer switch (the Smart Life App didn't have a dimmer plug option), and then connected the Smart Life App to my Google Home. It appears to be working at the moment. I'm hoping the device is as dependable as other reviewers claim; my rating is based solely on the lack of helpful instructions and the integration.
This isn't going to work. Terrible! Because it won't connect to their app, I'm guessing I got a dud. Even in pairing mode, the unit will not turn on. According to the instructions, quickly press the power button on/off three times, and then the indicator light should blink rapidly. Because mine does not blink, I am unable to connect this device to the internet, rendering it useless! Please refund my money or send me a replacement as soon as possible!.
